You can try making a simple syrup with equal parts sugar and water drizzle it over the too of the cake after it cooks down then put your frosting on. I do this to all my cakes and they’re always the most moist cake everrr

Hey Angela! I would suggest swapping the cake mix for yellow cake gluten free mix. You can still add in the jello mix as well as a 1/2 Cup of fresh pureed strawberries to add additional strawberry flavor! Let me know if you have any other questions and I hope that everything goes well!
Is there any way to make this is a springform pan or just use one cake pan I don’t have two cake pans I just have one 9 inch round cake pan but I do have 9x13 aluminum foil pans too
Hi Taylor! I wouldn't recommend a springform pan but a 9x13 pan would work if you are not interested in decorating the cake like in the video. The 9x13 would also only make 1 large cake. If you prefer to use the 1 9 inch, you can bake at separate times and just line the cake pan completely. Hope this helps and let me know how it goes!
Hi Shelby! They can definitely go into the cake batter to add more flavor! They will rehydrate throughout the cooking process. I would not recommend putting them onto the cake directly!

I would not recommend cool whip. If you’re going to use whipping cream, you may want to whip it yourself and then add the strawberry’s. The whip cream will not be stable enough alone. Did you plan to add the powdered sugar to it ?
Ayeee. I'm stupid..it's my wife bday and she coming home from work. I left work early to make this cake. I didn't let it cool off enough and it was melting the icing🤣 so I put it in the freezer

Hey! Depending on your oven it could simply be the bake time. Next time you could adjust it and bake it for less time ! Hope this helps!

I can use a pack strawberry cake but it said it contain jello pudding mix in the box cake so do I still add the jello
