So much for "experts" claiming the NEVER slap their tales! On the lake 30yrs, I've only seen two otters, but read the DEC is stocking. Living on the lake 30 years, we have some incredible visitors... we've even seen a Gray Wolf, Mt Lion, Fisher, Coyotes, even a Moose calf last year! I live on a creekmouth/beachfront on the quiet side! My apology.

What a fun morning!
The tail slap is a dead giveaway, Baby Beaver...still cute though.
Their tails were narrow and long. I've seen baby beavers and these little guys were not beavers.
