No kidding. This is the end of week one for me... And being able to get my reminders, calendar events, txt/email/calls, makes my artflow much more focused. Also... I just added music to the watch, and connected my Bluetooth headset directly to the watch... And now I'm able to go from workstation to workstation without thinking about range from phone. This thing is incredible.
Samsung watch line has a lot of potential to become even better maybe even surpassing the Apple watch series that highly popular. 1. App eyscosytem- This the main issue Samsung needs to approve on with their smartwatches. The galaxy watch needs a lot better app support, Apple watch does this better. 2. Fitness/Health- Things like step count, heart rate, and etc need improvement this is where the Apple watch out shines the galaxy watch. 3. Google assistant- Google assist would be an fantastic addition over Bixby as a option. 4. Color Options- It would be cool if Samsung added more color options like blue, red, yellow, and etc OS Tizen, design , battery, always on display, water resistant, addictive gimmick rotating bezel, and features Galaxy watch dominates the Apple series watch in these areas in my book. I hope we'll see these improvements with the galaxy watch 2, if Samsung decides to realse the watch along with their anniversary phones the s10 and note 10 next year in 2019.
I still rock my rose gold s2 just because the smaller size galaxy watch still looks kinda bulky for my child size wrist, not to mention the black doesn't look feminine or have a "classy" or "elegant" look and I already own a rose gold color🙄😒.
I don't own apple watch but at peace the size looks like they kept it the same as day one, what kills it for me is that geeky square body and their damn prices!
I love this watch cause it does EVERYTHING, like phone, and its great if you have ocd, like me and you check if you didnt forget your phone all the time And you actually have your "phone" on your hand all the time
A friend of mine gave me his old Galaxy Watch when he made the switch from Android to iOS. I used it for a couple of weeks and was amazed at the battery life. I ended up getting the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic 46mm version in silver.

Wow, what a great review. I love my rose gold Galaxy watch, but I learned some useful tips from your review, thanks! Looks like you should use the shorter length band that should have come with the watch. About my only complaint about the watch is that it misses quite a few steps compared to a pedometer that i also carry. I think the rose gold watch looks great on men and women, although I have purchased some darker bands.
I really want one! Especially since I'm in school and they don't let us have our phones out, this would be really beneficial for a lot of things! I could also stay in contact with my mom as well in case of ANY emergency. I would love one of these and this video is really helpful!
I LOVE the watch, the style and the amazing array of faces you can download are stunning. Only downside is the tracking is terrible compared to the Fitbit. Steps are anywhere from 30 - 50% short and almost 95% on the stairs. Other tests have confirmed this. But again love the features, it just sucks for tracking, but the Fitbits just don't look good in my opinion.

I would rather find it better if samsung kept the "Gear" name for their smartwatch line-up so that it will stay inline with the other accessories in the Gear line-up like the Gear Sport, Gear Fit, Gear 360, Gear VR and Gear Icon X. I also like the "Samsung Gear" name for their smartwatches because it sounds more unique compare to the Apple Watch, Huawei Watch and etc.
@@HizzatulAHemal there's no official WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger app but there's a third party app called W-History and M-History app which let's you read old messages "since you got the watch", not older messages and you can't send new messages but you can reply to new messages from the notification. This is it until official apps are released
Makes a great secondary/tertiary device. Between my Note 9, Galaxy Tab S4, and Galaxy Watch, my device stable has never been so well-rounded and complete. They individually cover every need that I have on a daily basis and using them in conjunction really allows for great functionality. I really enjoy the watch as a health/fitness and emergency device. It's nice to not always need to bring a phone when I leave the house anymore, especially for exercise.
As someone who has been invested in the Samsung ecosystem for a few years now, it's great to see them tie together like this. As one of the top watches it seems if you have a Samsung phone this seems to be a no brainer.

With only a few choices on smartwatch today, I think the Galaxy Watch shows that Samsung can do it. I hope Galaxy Watch 2 next year can add the whole black finish on 46 mm version, I don't like silver mixing with black bezel. Besides, I'd like to see USB-C port on the watch charger, improved Bixby assistant and more third-party apps. Finally, I want the MST support back to Galaxy Watch 2.

I've been doing a lot of research to figure out which Android smartwatch to buy now that I switched from an iPhone to the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 cell phone. They have new galaxy watch actives that are more geared towards fitness. It's not officially out yet, but is another option. I still love my Galaxy watch and wear it daily! You can probably get it on sale too now

I LOVE the way this watch looks. However im not willing to pay that much for it when I can invest a few more dollars and get the Garmin. Great, I mean GREAT review though!!
I'm a college student and a single mom. I can't get to my phone often at all so a smart watch is a absolute need. 😩
