@@WatchAdvisorMay I also say, I appreciate the easy camaraderie you display with the professionals you interview. As someone who is not at all knowledgeable in technical and mechanical details, it's often quite daunting to approach the subject of watches and watchmaking and I feel like you and the team at WatchAdvisor have done a great job in this regard very consistently. Cheers!
Amazing value for money. Being able to adjust everything through the crown merits some innovation award 🥳. Design wise, the dial layout and in particular the big date location not my thing, that’s personal of course. Thanks for showing us these watch pieces.
If you're reading the comments, I've got a few suggestions for your consideration: Symmetry: The watch could benefit from improved symmetry. The Moon phase is well-placed, but the large date should be positioned beneath the logo. Also, could you consider moving the power reserve indicator to the back of the case? Legibility: The current design suffers from poor legibility due to the similar style of the applied indices and the hour/minute hands. These should be redesigned to a smaller size or removed altogether. Instead, I recommend using Latin numerals at the 3, 6, and 9-hour marks. Case Design: To enhance wearability, decrease the overall case thickness and size. Adding a circle of guilloché to the dial would provide a refined finishing touch. These adjustments should enhance both the aesthetic and functional aspects of the watch.
Coming into this completely cold with only a basic awareness of the brand but no knowledge of the watches. Hugely impressed - fantastic engineering with the aesthetics to match! Not to mention a starting price that doesn't move the watches outside of the reach of 99.9 percent of the population!
What FC is doing is something very interesting and very important, the calibers in House at a price not too high for the quality and for what they give you are a breath of fresh air..excellent content as always..Ciao👋 Alexander!
Nice video. Usually I prefer a blue dial, but for this I like the silver (well and the blue meteorite looks awesome, but a bit out of my price range). Was considering this in silver or a heart beat watch. But after this interview I think maybe I should wait for those teased 2024 watches.
I am really digging this brand. I accomplished the task of getting my dream watch (Green Sub) and my focus is being broadened to be more exploratory with other brands.
@WatchAdvisor agreed. So everyone benifitted 😀 An innovative company still exists, which looking at management, research and products, not to mention value for money, benifitted all concerned... the sellers, the new owners, the employees and potential customers. 😉😘😉😘
Whaou Elon, you are making beautiful watches!...😂 I have just acquired the brown Highlife Worldtimer: what a beauty! Those new big dates are amazing too! Keep on developping the brand like that!
I hope they do more monolithic movements but in a highlife-like case. I think their sporty designs look more interesting than their classical pieces but the triple complication at this price is still mindblowing.
It is nice. Would be nicer if they color-matched the date discs. The blue would be great with a dark blue or black date discs with white or silver numbers.
My interest in watches was sparked by Nico Leonard. However, as he became a TH-cam star, he seemed to lose touch with where it all began. That's when I discovered WatchAdvisor, the channel where the watches are the stars! I'm gaining a wealth of knowledge from here.
@@WatchAdvisor I'd like to know your opinion on 5 watches for a personal collection (unlimited budget). Would be even nice if the list doesn't include Rolex, Patek & AP. Thanks in advance.

@@WatchAdvisorMakes you wonder how much margin a Submariner has for example- what does it cost in Produktion + Marketing - like 2-3k max? This watch on the other hand is a steal
As much as I am a fan of the monolithic and would like to own one, I doubt that they will use this technology again until they have ironed out the regulation and isochronism problems that trouble these movements. Even the timekeeping of the monolithic watches that were sent back to Switzerland for reregulation by Frederique Constant was way out of the specs they claimed when marketing the technology. I still think it is a interesting step in a new direction, hence my desire for one, but most customers expect better timekeeping so until they can meet the accuracy levels they initially claimed I doubt they’ll produce more.
What Frédérique Constant are achieving since a couple of years is exceptional. Their last releases are absolutely exquisite !
Value for the money… good quality and good design…
That blue meteorite is stunning. Well done, FC!
Mind blowing for that price I would say…

I’m incredibly impressed with what they have done the last couple of years. The finishing is exceptional and the proportions look perfect.
FC has grown to become a serious competitor for the big ones of this industry
The more i learn about Frédérique Constant, the more i am impressed with their work and progress so far! In for an FC time piece really soon!

Well this time they "attack ALS" ! I love FC for so many years, own one of their watches and would like to have more......thanks for this Alexander!
They do a GREAT job in their segment - yes! But they do not yet attack ALS 😜
I purchased the perpetual calendar five years ago. White dial with blue strap...I love it!

This collection is definitely giving off Laurent Ferrier vibes, but actually obtainable and with complications…very well done FC!
