      Me too!!! Hope we get snow so maybe the voles will be less active. I think I’ll try putting crushed rock in the ground.

    Good morning. Great choices. Consider listing your choices so I can relax and enjoy the video and reference the list afterward. I’m in southwestern CT. I have horrible deer pressure. They love love love my tulips. Have pulled back to daffodils, scilla, alliums, and winter aconite. Would love to put in a huge drift of blue camassia.

      Would you like me to list them in the description. I can go back and do that.

    I have voles in my yard and they eat my tulips and this year they even got into or under my Hydrangea tree and it fell over . I pulled it back into place and it rooted itself back in after keeping a large bucked filled with soiled leaning against it 😊.Great tulip varieties you ordered for your landscape, I’m planting daffodils, a new to me variety and Shubertii allium . Greetings from Massachusetts

      Greetings 🖖. Yes they are brutal. They seem to leave the daffodils 🌼 alone and alliums too

    I agree! I'm now ordering more of the things I like and that perform well for me instead of a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Gets expensive. And makes a much larger impact. Love purple too.

      Deer aren’t an issue but voles are an ongoing battle sadly.

    I like how you describe the tulips one by one. This year I never ordered any tulips or daffodils but I did order bearded iris, Sicilian honey garlic ,giant leucojum, Mt. Everest alliums. I have grown Tete de Tete and Purple Sensation that have perennialized in my gardens. I also got some giant Robert Swanson lilies. Bonny

      My new Siberian Iris didn’t go well this season. Not sure why. Maybe voles?

    Hi, just found your great channel! On another video, you said you deal with lots of critters. My critters break my heart every year and eat all the delicious bulbs well before spring (tulips and crocus especially). How do you prevent them from eating your tulip bulbs in your garden? Thanks for the help!

    If the yellow one is also called Winter Aconite be careful. A co worker gave me some years ago and I regret it. It spreads and grows in between everything else and has a very short season of interest and not much at that. Not worth the trouble in my garden. Vicki

    Is there any purple allium that has largerr blooms than 5 in? I am not familiar much with allium.

    • @letstalkgardeningwithrobin
      @letstalkgardeningwithrobin  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Globemaster' is the biggest and many think the best Allium yet. Small, silvery purple florets form 8-10″ flower heads. This bulb gets its large flower size from its A. cristophii parent, but the florets are packed more densely, creating an imposing and brilliantly colored globe.
