They had 32,000 the 1st game this season. The Elks have now lost 19 home games in a row. Any fan base would eventually stay away if they suffered the same.

@@backalleycqc4790 I'm not even an Edmonton Eskimos/Elks fan. I'm a Sask Riders fan. But it still pisses me off that they destroyed the heritage of this great franchise. I'm old enough to remember Warren Moon when he first came into the league. He was overlooked by the NFL because he was black but was given a chance to show his talent in the CFL. Eventually he ended up in the NFL and was one of the greatest. That's what the CFL represents.... it's the furthest thing from racism and that's why it upsets me. It has nothing to do with me being fragile. The fragile people are the ones who complained about the name in the first place.

I've been an Ottawa fan since '76, I've lived through a few name changes, the team won a Grey Cup using Redblacks. The Edmonton team is still the same team, regardless of the name change, if you think otherwise you're emotionally fragile.

I'm VERY surprised at just how bad Edmonton has been. While I do not object to EE losses, I don't see this as a positive thing for the league. You don't draw fans when you play like this.
