Bajajaja haaa ha. I’m here because I scored like $80 worth of plants for $15. They just need transplanting and a little tlc and I’ll double what I bought when they get healthy!!!! 🤙🏼
This was almost the only positive video I could find about majesty palms. It was a real bummer after buying one on the clearance rack and then looking up care. Thanks for being positive, I'm sure I can save these babies, not sure why everyone is such a downer about them.
Omg I love the way you talk! It’s just my speed and you’re funny too! Currently trying to save a large clearance palm and now I think I have the knowledge to do it! Thank you! ❤
I found a 6’ majesty palm today and I’m so excited. I’m just going to cut off the damaged fronds. It’s growing three new ones. This was a positive and exciting video! Thank you!!
2024 I just got a palm from clearance at Lowe's for $ 5.00❤. I You Tubed the care for it and it suggested that I watch your video from 3 years ago. Thank you 😊
Excellent tutorial! I have been searching for a thorough and concise video on the Majesty Palm and you hit all the marks. Love your energy, love your passion. Thank you!
Wow! I learned something new. I go to the clothing clearance, but never the plant clearance rack! Your video was very informative and entertaining. Thank you
I’m always at Lowe’s looking for plants and since I live in Florida, I have more opportunities to own more beautiful palms and plants. I also love the clearance section at the store. In fact, is the first place I go first.
Here I was on TH-cam searching for majesty palm soil videos for my Lowes clearance find. Just to find your vid, it's my EXACT situation right now haha, found the info I needed!
This is too funny bc I JUST bought my 1st houseplant yesterday and it's a palm tree from Lowe's clearance rack.!! NO SHIT!! That's what I was scrolling for... Advice on how to save my new baby. And the 2nd video I clicked on is you!! This is so great! You're so great! And I think this is the universe telling me I'm right where I'm supposed to be doing exactly what I'm meant to be. Eh? So, obviously I'm taking your advice, which was what my mother n law had told me as well. And I'm repotting that baby tonite n giving her a haircut. Thanks girl! Much love!!
At the time I am watching this video, it's about a year and a half old, but it's filled with great information. I'm hitting that subscribe button. Also: I'm having flashbacks to when I could sit like that (about 50 years ago). Memories.
Thank you and thank you again. This is the best video I’ve seen on the Majesty palm. For those of us ND it is so nice to be able to actually hear the information you’re sharing.
Also I have a 5bdrm manufacturered home with 3 bathrooms I use one bathroom as a plant infirmary bc I can turn on the shower and have enough humidity to bathe my plants with a tropical feel
I always check the clearance racks and most times its where I make my purchases. I just purchased one of these palms today. I'm totally excited about helping it grow.
I love how you explained everything....all good info 100%. Unlike all them other females that are just long winded, only 40% of what they speak about is about the subject.
Yea I can do without all the extra yapping too😆 I do get it tho that sometimes alot of info can be a bit boring but I rather it by actual info or by humor
@@TheAdhdGardener I rescued a majesty palm from lowes about a month ago and now have her in front of a southern-facing glass door. One of the new shoots bent over and I decided today to trim it off. The problem is lack of humidity in this apt. plus my man often opens the door for ventilation. This is the only plant I have here at his house so far, so it's not quite the jungle bunch yet :)
@@meghan1914 ahh its def not gonna like the drafts. Humidifier will💯work but just make sure to clean frequently. Mines went a bit brown cuz I didn't put a humidifier on them for the month of Feb😑(I was lazy lol) so back to it I went
Oh my goodness I am SOOOO glad I found this video. I just splurge bought 8 of these in the manager’s clearance section of Lowe’s. They were marked down to $5 each (reg $39.99), and I couldn’t resist.
I have visited Lowe's three to four times in the last two weeks. Although I lack gardening skills, I enjoy having plants in my environment. I have attempted to care for a palm tree on three occasions, but unfortunately, each attempt has resulted in its demise. This year, I acquired another palm, which also died; however, I noticed a new stem emerging. I have trimmed the brown stems and remain hopeful for its recovery. I have placed it on the floor beside a window that faces south. However, I plan to relocate it to the area where my other plants are situated. I have considered acquiring a humidifier and a grow lamp, but I believe I will opt for the humidifier. Additionally, my plant remains in the original container from Lowe's, and I have not yet repotted it or changed the soil; should I do so? Thank you for your inspiration.
During the summer it'll do well. My palms love being outside but what's the current temp over in the UK now? They're not a fan of being cold.. good luck!🌻
Thank you! I just found a neighbor had put one next to the community recycling bin. It has new growth on both pawns despite lots of dead leaves and a large healthy pawn (think that’s what it’s called) Broke my heart to see it almost died. I took it home and cut off the dead. Now to fertilize and water and hydrate. Problem is, I live in Colorado so even though the weather temp is perfect, humidity may not be enough. Thankfully we do get tropical storms in summer. I don’t know what I’ll do for winter - I don’t have many plants to crowd it. Tips?
I’ve just planted a palm in my garden I live in England I am the summer is just around the corner please God but I know that these plants are very tough since I’ve planted it in the ground I’m not sure if it’s my imagination or the ends of the leaves are going yellow which means it possibly needs more water I don’t know but my friend said I need to soak it so I’ve given it a fair amount of water I planted it so that it’s covered I’ve put some soil around the edges and on top once I planted it And pressed it down firmly and now I’m praying for it to grow every day
I’m always picking up plants at the clearance section. There inexpensive and I love bringing life back to them. Thank you so much for the tips you confirmed what I was thinking but needed a confirmation.
Hello pretty lady. I have a palm tree in my house from last summer. Mine had the brown leaves you talked about. I’m sure your right about humidity. But you said to fertilize the plant. What type do I use for a palm tree.
Yea that brown is def my the winter cold dry air. The fertilizer option is up to u I tend to stay away from Miracle grow anything. I use fish based fertilizers. Mostly organic houseplant fertilizers if I have the money(organic is always expensive)

Just found this channel and I love it!! I am becoming obsessed with plants. Was recently at Lowes and got a beautiful Peace Lily and Dwarf Umbrella Tree for only $1. There was nothing wrong with them except that the Umbrella tree was missing some leaves. Thankfully the leaves on the umbrella tree are starting to grow back after I repotted it with some worm castings and potting soil. I am now really getting into palms, indoor trees, and lucky bamboo. Great channel and great tips 👍

I am always there. I have gotten a lot of plants from Lowe's clearance over the years. Walmart also tends to have a clearance plant section outside when the blooming is done or they start to turn yellow or brown. Otherwise their clearance plants are mixed in with the rest.
I got a Lowe’s clearance all the time. And I was specifically looking for a majesty palm and I found one in August. It was doing great and then it fell over at the base today. The stem or trunk was soggy and gooey. I don’t know what I did wrong. It looked beautiful. It had new stems. I put it in a bigger pot and I was watering it. The branches are still green and beautiful. How can I save it? Any suggestions?
Hi there. Really enjoyed this video. Very informative and using it for the palm I have at home. Do you have an update on the last palm which wasn't doing so good. Were you able to save it?
I bought a clearance palm from Lowes. Outside humidity is low and I had these same issues. I am at the stage of adding a grow light and a slow release fertilizer to our whole collection of plants. This video helped me make adjustments to the plants and the pot, huddling them, and using the pebble approach. Since house is kept at 40% humidity, I tried all the mist techniques and I can confirm they do not work. Nonetheless, my palm is better than her last one, so we still have hope!
I'm always on the clearance side! I brought a Majestic Palm for $3 a month ago from Lowes and its doing well!! Thank you for such an informative video. I love your energy and spirit. Your plants are all so beautiful as well🪴
Let's raise up those humidity and light levels. Thats the key😉🌱

I saved some plants from the trash can. They're doing great now!
Had coworkers that saw some plants in a dumpster. The three did surgery, and the plant is huge now.
I only by from the clearance/dead rack. Lolo. My biggest joy is to save the life of a plant.

You can use the tray and misting but if that isn't enough then you'll need a humidifier to keep that constant humidity
