Thank you for all your videos I have watched them multiple times. They have become a comfort for me. (I'm a Summit Alumni of Session 2024)
Something that has been buggin me and has always bugged me, before I explain my question, my question came out of reading (Andrew Pettersons God Of The Garden. The Question is this, 1."Where is the Garden of Eden and what happened to it? and 2. is and element of it in us?

“‘God’ is an ever receding pocket of scientific ignorance.“

Science and the biblical worldview go hand in hand.

Nope. You can't reconcile the two. Science is concerned with facts. Religion is concerned with fantasies.

Science is birthed out of a Christian world view? News to me. Have mercy.

Galileo Galilei, some claim is the father of modern science and he was Christian. We all know how the Church openly accepted his ideas and theories as his faith and science were completely inline with the Christian world view. Then just ignore the invention of the decimal system and geometry used in Egypt and Mesopotamia as a foundation of science.
Which aspect of the Christian world view gave birth to science? Love they God with all thy heart? Love thy neighbor as thy self? Which Chapter and verse was this foundation for science born out of?

So does the science teacher believe that his prophet arose from the dead and ascended to heaven? If so then please explain the science behind that, and if he didn't, then that basically tumbles the foundation of your religion.

The mental gymnastics these people have to go through are gold worthy. 🙄

Yeah, he does believe that. I think he would answer that applying scientific investigation to a past event can only go so far, like most events of history since they are not able to be directly observed by the investigator.

@@WhatsBugginYou well.how about at least supply the supporting scientific facts and examples of similar events to justify his belief that actually happened

Faith as defined by your Holy Book Hebrews 11:1. Is faulty according to your video.
Since faith as defined in Hebrews is a central tenant of the Bible narrative I can conclude that your Bible is faulty.
Definition of Faulty: working badly or unreliably because of imperfections.
Thank you, this video has been very helpful.

Thanks for watching and commenting. I am a little confused. Doesn't the definition of faith from that verse in Hebrews match the video rather than the common idea that faith is some sort of blind wishful thinking? Rather, faith is the assurance of things hoped for and the conviction of things unseen.

@@WhatsBugginYou "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen"
Faith according to the video: "Believing in Light of the evidence".
Evidence in science is usually used in conjunction with a Hypothesis or theory where the evidence confirms or disconfirms the theory or a hypothesis.
I don't know what to do with your definition. Maybe you define "evidence" or "in light of" in a way that is not intuitive.
I think I get it, so in light of evidence means that you will believe whatever your faith requires, regardless of the evidence? If you find some proof in science you accept it. If you find something contradicting your faith you ignore it and keep on believing in light of the evidence?
