59:57 I dropped a Level 40+ PMC yesterday on Woods, just like that. I heard him, froze, stayed still a couple minutes, could still hear him close, right over the hill. I was thinking of throwing a nade and pushing when I heard him get up and start walking. Sure enough, his face appeared over the ridge and he ate M80. Then I completely screwed up by looting him immediately instead of clearing the vicinity first, and got killed by a scav. Be patient for the kill, and for the loot.
Killed a trio in factory with a ks-23 by flashing with star ammo and nading them, fuckers came in lvl 5 armor with face shield altans a decked vector and two other full auto rifles and at the end while i was healing a scav with a toz just fucking walks into the bathroom and i whiff my shot and get head eyes’d
Yeah, if he had thought that he heard someone, he would maybe have kept going after a few seconds, but he would have walked to the ridge, not sprinted.

Just wanted to throw this out there. In my time in the armed forces, when ambushed you were instructed to find cover, consolidate and rush the ambushers. I think it was a hail Mary play, but definitely not unheard of!
Depends on if it's a near or far ambush, and if you have cover on the flank to go that way you definitely would not just bumrush across an open field. You'd establish a base of fire and flank around through the cover
yeah I've realized that often times when I feel that way its me that's the issue..when ur a very smart player and read the map well and get into good positioning and make smart plays u often end up making decent/good players look foolish..to us it looks like these lobbies are just always full of bots when in reality he's just sometimes making it look easier than it is by positioning and smart decision making
I've never seen any escape from tarkov gameplay until yesterday when I found this series. I binged watched every episode update to date, not realizing it was ongoing and I'm excited to see every new episode. I liked your videos so much that I went looking for other playthrough series, but I can't stand the few I've found because of the quality this series is. 10/10 would scav again.

Finally. It is refreshing to see a player actually using the terrain and objects to change their outline. Simple things can really make the difference due to how the brain sees things. IRL and in games.

I've been watching these in order. I thank you for the insights and knowledge. It helped me tremendously in the game while playing solo. It went from a bad experience to an enjoyable one once I got it how to tactically play it.

You can find really good stuff in stashes, I've found multiple FuelCond, plenty of rare barter loot. Extremely good for finding cigarettes for Mechanic.

And the he still didnt pick stuff up that was worth more then 10k per slot at the time of the video to take things that were worth 5k at the time of the video.
Man I just had the most horseshit encounter with a FAL: my scav had one, so I spawned in at like 05:30 on customs in the dark and just tried to run the north wall from customs area over toward military base checkpoint to rat out with it. I got to the stash up on the hilltop just before you go down to the train tracks, and I hear sprinting behind me. I sit in the brush under the power tower right behind the stash, and this dude comes sprinting in, turns and faces his back to me like he's about to loot the stash. He's literally five feet in front of me, facing the wrong direction. I point-shoot, dumping my entire 10-round mag into him. About the time I hear "click," the dude turns around and just womps me instantly in the face. I hit him four or six times and did 360-something damage, but no kill. HOWW? Just fucking HOWWWWW!? I didn't even want to fight-- just wanted to retrieve this stupid FAL! But dude had to come running up on me goddamnit I hate this game sometimes.
I totally agree with you and appreciate the weight changes. It helps with looting when sweaty chunky vets come rolling through with t6 armor and thermals comes and wrecks me just to hoard my gear that they don't need.
The overweight system is a good idea but it's poorly executed. You barely take any gear and you are already overweight. Yes, I know, you can level up your strength but that takes fucking ages.
Good and bad with it, like anything else. I think it's a little too punitive. The design team knows their base is there for realism, and I appreciate that they aren't backing down from that.. even after selling so many copies.. but damn. Barely pick anything up and you can't move.
@@JerseySlayer exactly. Or if you decide to wear something like the zabralo Armor and some heavy helmet and an RPK. You already can't move and you haven't even taken anything from the raid. Tbh the system is bullshit when it's executed like this.
I have watched these 9 episodes over the last 3 days. You need to get better at looting. The vepyr hunter and the aks-74u that you looted had attachments. You should be grabbing those and then dumping the gun from the start. The attachments are good ruble/weight per slot value. I am not saying this negatively. You will make more money, weigh less and survive more. GG dude
the new scav spawn at 4:30, ive had a scav that i think was killa but he killed me so quick im not sure, just think its killa cause he slid around a corner and mowed me down
on my first pmc raid on shoreline, killa chased me across the map, and killed my by sliding around the corner, the only reason he was probly there, was because he chased some one there. That would be my guess, based on my experince
the first raid was perfect example for my question. i wonder what happens if you trade blows like in the end of the first round but you get into killscreen BEFORE hes dead. but he dies from your shots because he has no bandages. is that still your kill? it seems like you have to drop them dead before you get to the killscreen right? thats weird to me. what do you think? i mean its clearly your kill if you leave them with 2 hp and bleeding. at least if you ask me.

Horrible day for me. Played about 4 hours, 3 of my scav runs had ridiculous spawn loot. Lab card on first, 3 keys on the 2nd(two of which where 300k+), and another lab and 200k key. All of which I died within 30secs of spawning. So tilted
Videos are always good but any chance you could up the gamma a little as in the dark areas the screen is so dark its pure black on my monitors at work and can't see a damn thing :(
@@ssmayberry2462 it's not a bad round. But most players are running level 5-6 armour now and it just doesn't have enough punch to onetap the thorax. M62 is much better this late in the wipe.

@@ssmayberry2462 its hardly one of the ebst rounds when 308 only has 4rounds to select from, even early game m80 is a no go. Its best to either focuse on leg meta or high pen punching trough thorax.
you know only part of most rigs are armoured to what they say they are, if they have ceramic or metals they will have a plate so shoulder hits and basically anything not center mass shouldnt hit their armour, notice how if you are being shot at side on your armour takes nearly no damage
That woods quest took me 4days and about 30 raids to get done. Pain in the backside that quest and not looking forward to doing it again after next wipe
Two Tips from someone who is also new to the Game and hates playing Woods/questing on it. 1. Go in at Night. Seriously it makes Things much easier, especially navigating through the Map as you dont feel like 10 Snipers are watching every Single Step you take. If you stay between the Trees you are almost invisible for Non-Thermal Users. 2. If you have one of the better Spawns (so where less Players spawn right next to you) just lay down in a Bush and wait for like 15-20mins (or even longer). So many PMC's die in the first 10 Minutes either because of the cancer Spawns or because they rush towards Lumberyard and get killed there by the Boss or other PMC's. If you wait there is much less activity and you can slip through more easy. I know these Methods are not fun and you miss on alot of Loot, but Woods isnt a Fun Map to begin with and has mediocre Loot at its best. Just get the Quests done and move on to better Maps (Reserve, Interchange) to make Cash on.
DerSpanier5001 nice. Cheers. When I did get this done, it was a night raid and I think I went on USA server as it was middle of night there, so server was quiet. Rushed in, got objective and then spent about 15 mins slowly making way out so as not to get killed. But actually, your method sounds better. Will try that next wipe.
@@deskruxtion1 You could try out one of 3 Things if the Game is to dark for you during Night Raids: 1. Play around with the recently added Post FX Options Menu. You can change alot of Things in there like Brightness, Sharpeness or Colour Intesity. By increasing Brightness you should be able to see on most Maps (except Factory because that Map is ALWAYS pitch black) without too much Problems. 2. Get a cheap Pair of Night Visions Goggles. The PNV-10T can be bought from Skier Level 2 for 30.000 - 40.000 Rubels. You also need the PNV-10T Dovetail Adapter (also Skier Level 2) and the Norotos Advanced Tactical Mount (Peacekeeper Level 2) to put it on a Helmet (the 6B47 Ratnik Helmet is a cheap but viable Helmet for example). Lets you see at Night and isnt to hard to unlock. The extra Roubles you need to spend on it are definetly worth it if you are struggeling with a Quest. 3. Get a new Monitor. Sound silly I know but when I played on my old shitty Laptop with bad Screen I couldnt see anything at Night aswell. After I switched to my new PC and bought a decent Monitor it suddenly was much easier. Also be aware that the Night Vision Strategy probably WONT work right now, since its only a couple of Weeks until Wipe, so there will be alot of People running around with Thermal Scopes and better Night Vision during Night Time Raids! Wait until the Game Wipes and this will be much more successfull!

one thing i would've done that you didnt do this video is dump ur sordins and helm somewhere safe for that insurance scam and wear the helmet and sordins u got from the pmc kills that way u clear space in ur bag and u are also less heavy also a little tip for players
I dont know brother. I was in the Marine Corps for 12 years. Most of my training was advance suppress and overcome with aggression. Most combative training I've had during and after my time in was mostly about being more aggressive than your opponent. That could be why I die so much in this game though too lmao. It takes a lot of willpower for me to not want to just charge forward at them

there is nothing like a financially responsible chad. its either a chad or a rat everybody that in the slightest cares about beeing financially responsible is a rat. he simply is a chad though cuz he doesnt care about money otherwise he wouldnt let all those 10k per slot items rot away and prefere all those 5k per slot items over them. or the fal woods raid he wood have picked up the 2 metal fuel tanks that were in the bunker where he extracted just to get a bit more profit

31:04, Ammo used 5, Hit count 8. So that's 3 double shot or 2 doubles and 1 triple shot (arm-thorax-arm, if that's even possible).

on the Hunter, there is a LOW mount for the optics, that gives better visual closer to the eye.

There are two variants of okp-7. The better one is only dovetail mounted

they are still working on armor weak spots they have tons of work to do on the game i mean heck they use to not have medical animations XD

So many PMC's die in the first 10 Minutes either because of the cancer Spawns or because they rush towards Lumberyard and get killed there by the Boss or other PMC's. If you wait there is much less activity and you can slip through more easy.
I know these Methods are not fun and you miss on alot of Loot, but Woods isnt a Fun Map to begin with and has mediocre Loot at its best. Just get the Quests done and move on to better Maps (Reserve, Interchange) to make Cash on.
DerSpanier5001 nice. Cheers. When I did get this done, it was a night raid and I think I went on USA server as it was middle of night there, so server was quiet. Rushed in, got objective and then spent about 15 mins slowly making way out so as not to get killed. But actually, your method sounds better. Will try that next wipe.

@@deskruxtion1 You could try out one of 3 Things if the Game is to dark for you during Night Raids:
1. Play around with the recently added Post FX Options Menu. You can change alot of Things in there like Brightness, Sharpeness or Colour Intesity. By increasing Brightness you should be able to see on most Maps (except Factory because that Map is ALWAYS pitch black) without too much Problems.
2. Get a cheap Pair of Night Visions Goggles. The PNV-10T can be bought from Skier Level 2 for 30.000 - 40.000 Rubels. You also need the PNV-10T Dovetail Adapter (also Skier Level 2) and the Norotos Advanced Tactical Mount (Peacekeeper Level 2) to put it on a Helmet (the 6B47 Ratnik Helmet is a cheap but viable Helmet for example). Lets you see at Night and isnt to hard to unlock. The extra Roubles you need to spend on it are definetly worth it if you are struggeling with a Quest.
3. Get a new Monitor. Sound silly I know but when I played on my old shitty Laptop with bad Screen I couldnt see anything at Night aswell. After I switched to my new PC and bought a decent Monitor it suddenly was much easier.
Also be aware that the Night Vision Strategy probably WONT work right now, since its only a couple of Weeks until Wipe, so there will be alot of People running around with Thermal Scopes and better Night Vision during Night Time Raids! Wait until the Game Wipes and this will be much more successfull!

I dont know brother. I was in the Marine Corps for 12 years. Most of my training was advance suppress and overcome with aggression.
Most combative training I've had during and after my time in was mostly about being more aggressive than your opponent.
