Are the solomon islands/marshall islands 🇸🇧 doing the song masese masese in their second set. Man it sounds like it and its one of my old skool childhood melodies i used to listen too as a child in the early 1980s. And im maori. But i know pacific sounds. But then it does have a similar sound to Drums of the Islands by Elvis Presley for his Blue Hawaii Movie in the 1950s. Masese is an old traditional song and goes back tens of thousands of years ago. And is still carried on in 2024 by tribes. Solomon islands, fiji, hawaii. Man i thought that was DMP Aka Doorman Project of solomon islands. But they reggae bands be off the hook. Typically Got that rasta style flow too it. Their language sounds like papua new guinea, torres straight islanders, aborigines of australia and vanuatu. Similar languages. Though solomon islands is next to these island countries.. love the hawaiian performances and all the other melanesian islands.
This is the opportunity for Aloha to shine. History taught us that our great king Kamehameha's goal was to unite ALL of Polynesian and Oceania until "the problems" invaded, and those occupiers never left. Their goal was to consume the riches and native people as their slaves. We will rise. IMUA FESTPAC.
