@@rho992 Perahara is religious festival of buddhists in Sri Lanka. It can't be said it is a festival 100% . Because it is beyond entertainment. In this month Kandy has the biggest perahara. It is going about 2 weeks. You can find video footages if you search as 'Kandy Perahara' on youtube. For furthur details you can google and get a simple idea.
Frankly speaking Paramvir bhai the way you are showing street food gives a feeling of India in SriLanka. Nice presentation and reasonable rate will attract Indian tourists in Sri Lanka. Hats off to Sri Lankan people for treating tourists in a friendly way despite this difficult time 💐💐🙏

Liked your Sri Lankan journey. My view about SriLankan people has changed completely. This people are so kind friendly and honest. Literacy level is high. Most of the people speak excellent English. I and family would surely visit Sri Lanka.

I visited India on Buddhist pilgrim....stayed 12 days in uttar pradesh and Lumbini in Nepal..... traveled Colombo to Delhi via Mumbai by Jet airways.... It was nice trip in India..... yes welcome to my Paradise with your family..

I visited India and Sri Lanka. There is a big difference between the two peoples in India. Most people try to take advantage of the tourists. Many people are humble and welcoming. On the other hand, such as street food, the level of cleanliness is 3 out of 10 .... As for Sri Lanka, I visited the northern and southern regions, I visited some popular neighborhoods I also ate from street food and met many people. The people are humble, welcoming, and friendly. The people have a culture of hygiene, unlike the Indian people. Do not think that I insult the Indian people. I just pass like what I saw, and I respect the Indian people. I have many friends from India, and I apologize. If you hurt your feelings...🙏

Villagers doesn't have 90% of problems we have in colombo. Vegetables free or cheap. No rent. No need gas they use wood for cook.
City people are suffering the most imo. Village people are not that affected.

Only because 99% of the street is populated by Tamil speaking Muslims. Colombo is mainly Tamil speaking & so is the North & East of the island. Otherwise you will find it hard to get by just speaking Tamil in the rest of the country
In Colombo Municipality(Urban area of Colombo) where Param bro vlogged majority are Muslims 34~ Tamils around 20-25..That means around 6/10 can speak Tamil here..In North & East that will further increase to 80-90+% but down south(1/10) and in the central Sri Lanka(3/10) it will be around..So by knowing only Tamil you can live in certain areas..
