Love the way it sounds gliding by. It will stay in the air for a long time on a windy day, I got an 1hour 22 minute flight on mine with a 4s 3200mah 30c Just use the power to get to 400' and would fly it down to 25' and repeat the process. Good video and enjoyed watching as always.
Hello Johnny. I fly with mine since more than one year. May I recommand to you to put back your Lipo if you want to have a real smooth glider. I fly up to 21-22 min with less of 3 min of throttle in thermal mode. With 25% of capacity left. Another advice. Better to be > 75% of powerful for hand taking off. FMS ASW-17 IS a very nice glider. I wish you good flights! JPhilippe. France.
Nice looking plane and great flying I been flying for 54 years and this year took the plunge to fly edf luv it, I haven't try gliders yet looks like it be my next adventure I hate I waited so long to try something new, do it while you can lol☺✈🛩🛫🛬🪂✈ 👍👍
Congratulations on such a successful maiden flight 👍🏾 😊 Thumbs-up for your video 👍🏾 Have a great rest of your day 😁 Greetings from Douglas, Arizona 🌵 🦠 😷 🇵🇷 Like #26

That thing is huge! So cool! Might have to get one.
It’s a beast of a glider, you’re making me wanna get mine back out of the box and fly it again! Nice capture and maiden fellas 👍🇺🇸👊
Thanks buddy!

Damn that's a huge rad sailplane, definitely a candidate for some HD fpv!
I was thinking the same thing!
Lovely stuff John ❤❤❤that bat looks tiny in that mahoosive battery bay 😂😂😂👌🏼
Very nice 👌 super smooth 👌 😎 👍🏻
So you have a stabiliser on this? Is it needed?
Just what I had laying round. It does not need it.
Do you recommend this plane for fpv? I'm debating between the ASW-17 and the lentus. Thank you in advance
Im thinking Im going to try FPV on it!
@@JohnVHRC Would like to see! Can this plane take a 4s 5000mah easily?
Heck yeah!

There is not a bind n fly option, you will have to have your own Transmitter, Receiver and battery to make it fly.
I saw that yeah is it like you need to wire the stuff or just plug in and boom ready?? and what do i even buy to make this FMS ASW-17 fully ready to fly? @@JohnVHRC
@@G4mecomanderWatch my build video on this model, it shows all that. And I have link in the description to what I used.
