I have an old ARP Odyssey MkII, the black and gold one. A friend of mine bought a bundle of music gear from someone, and the ARP was included in the bundle. My friend didn't know how to use th ARP, and apparently, he had no interest in learning how to use it, so he gave it to me. I would like to have service to bring into spec, and it needs new faders as they are realy hard to move. However, it still sounds great. Great demo as always.

Love this sound, reminds me of space and sci-fi the beginning of your video. Classic little synth with so much to offer, just love this little box of tricks. Love to see new music made with these kind of synths again. I see this is in beautiful condition and looks new. What year did this synth come out ? Was it 1978 ? Anyway like always just love seeing your videos of the great stuff you do with them. Thanks for sharing your time and putting your hard work into sharing with us. I really appreciate what you do, top man with a top channel and a fantastic collection of great synths.
Thank you so much for your kind words and the feedback Michael. I really appreciate it. The Odyssey is very versatile. Like a little ARP2600. And way more as the Minimoog. Perfect for spacy FX sounds. The Oddy Mark 3 is from the year 1978. The last revision. Have a nice week.
Hi Bro, do you know what the synth sound is for this song "Tren al sur" or any idea about what sound or sample it could be and what synth it belongs to?
Thank you for your wonderful Arp Odyssey demo! It was very well done! Are you able to show us how we can reproduce the 'Blue/Green Wave' FX sound from Jeff Wayne's "War Of The Worlds" (1978)? It was done on an Arp Odyssey. It's a monophonic sound and the octave drop involved the transpose switch (over on the left side of the keyboard) as heard in the first 4 seconds of the following clip: th-cam.com/video/cRfjhe1QygI/w-d-xo.html Thank you.

This is overrated(just for me).
@@jsplinc2000 No one synth is overrated. We are different like the synths.
@@retrosound72 Can you explain how are we different like the synthesizers?
@@jsplinc2000 We all like different things. Different food. Different music. Different people. We are different like the things we love. Or not. ;)

The digital wristwatch at ~ 06:18 fits very well!
Thank you for the fantastic sounds!
Thank you :)
At 4:32 you go techno :-). Excellent ARP sounds. Once I did a quick test on a KORG clone one.
Very versatile synth 🎹😁😉
Thank you Jose.
Had the Korg clone here. The sound is different.
Sounds so good! Love that lead sound at 3:14 ❤. Thanks for sharing!
thank you for watching :)
Fantastic as usual! You are the king of synth sounds. I’m going to see if my behringer odyssey can sound close to this.
Thank you!
One of the absolutely most distinctive, unique synth sounds ever. Right there with the CS80, mini Moog and P5. Excellent Vid. 😉
Thank you for your kind words. And agreed. One of the classics
This and the MS-20 my all time favorites! Thanks for sharing! Great Demo

Die Sync Sounds gehören zu den Besten im Synthesizer-Bereich finde ich. Das Ding kann sehr böse klingen. Im besten Sinne.🎹😅👍
Ultra cool ❤ Thank you for sharing! L G M
Danke für's reinhören 🎹🙌✨
Great sound. My former band was called Odyssee, funny thing is thatit was often mispelled as Odyssey on flyers. 😊
cool!
Thank you for your feedback.
Great 👍
Thank you 🙌
There is nothing like the original, with the beautiful design of the sticking out keys.
Agreed.
Thank you for your time
The original actually has recessed keys. The mk 3 has the keys sticking out, which makes them more susceptible to damage.
THE definitive hard sync sound
One of the best . Together with the Moog Prodigy
