    From usa.
    Go to Fremont CA and see what a deal this is! I think some comments may not be aware of market prices. Maybe $ 600k US in some cities in Virginia. I liked the house! It was upscale from our point of view. Nice little touches and features found in higher priced homes here. I didn't like the fireplace wall. This is a big house. A house just sold in Fremont about 1800 sq feet for 2.9 million US and it was built in 70s and a fixer upper. I had heard homes were up there more expensive. I guess with Exchange rate we would come out good.

      Not with taxes, you won't come out ahead, even when coming from California. And Edmonton weather is ass. If you can work fully remote and take a CA salary, just go to Mexico, or some latin America country, Canada is a shithole right now. If it's the mountains you're after, Calgary is the closer city but you'll be shelling out more. Honestly, you'd be better off living in Eastern Washington if you like the mountains.

    Actual cost to construct this house would be 200k and 50 k for land. Total cost 250k and sold for 800k. Profit of 550k. Potential buyers are new immigrants, 1 million of them are coming to Canada every year, and they’re locked up their lives themselves in Canada for another 25-30 yrs just simply by paying bills😅. Welcome to canada where your new dream begins 😅 moved to Canada for a better life. (What a joke)

      You have no clue about the housing market in edmonton. Land alone is probably around 200k so if you want to build your own home in the cheapest way (200k construction as you said which is impossibly low), it would still be a 400k home.

      The materials seem cheap, by the thickness of the quartz countertop

    Living room accent wall has no plug or way to mount a big screen TV above the fireplace because of the tile... Other wall is a window, and the other wall is glass... How do you watch TV in that living room?

      Most of these homes are track built, you would need to go custom if you want it done your way. this house is 500k the most and that's even being generous.

    • @himura357
      @himura357 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@archie_bunker I mean, it's not custom to ask for a way to watch TV. That is a huge mistake.

      @@himura357 roughing in an electrical box, hdmi line and and ethernet line is not custom but that would be an extra charge before the build or during the build. Just make sure its done before drywall lol

    Too much light and too bright you can tell how uncomfortable it is the intensity of ultraviolet coming from the big window plus the front door window you don’t feel secure at all !

    This house is NOT WORTH $780K. Poorly designed house. Sterling homes has better designs selling less than $600k in Edmonton South area.

    Think about our next generation!!! who comes out from college At age 25 with 50 k student loan!!! Then they pay off after that they get married another 50k then they find home which costs of 780k to 1 million, then they njoy -35 degree 🌡️ weather... Lol have fun..it is all thanks to our society!! Filled with greedy realtors, video makers, and other people involved in this, actual goal should be to make housing more affordable!! But these jobless people make sure our next generation homeless.. i hope they understand reason to build a home, people save every single penny of their pocket for the whole life just to buy a home!! Then they find themselves ...homeless...why.... Thanks to these people , who only care about their commission!! These are greedy psychopaths..😂
