Wonderful! Do you have a suggestion for if I sell online courses (customer can buy individual courses, a bundle, or a membership) which platform to use? The slow load time was a dealbreaker for Wix for me. Thanks for the find!
I would take a look at Squarespace (www.ecommerce-gold.com/squarespace) as it offers options for courses. I can't offer any other suggestions as I'm trying to find a platform for courses myself but haven't found many good options at the moment.
Squarespace isn't too bad in terms of SEO tools but when it comes to SEO, things like keyword research, quality of content and backlinks are the most important. Payhip is ok but have basically no SEO tools and works well if you have an existing website or social that can funnel traffic to it.
Great video! Question: In regard to their email marketing tools. I have a client that has email / domain through another vendor (network solutions/earthlink) - they want to switch to wix for their online store, but I am sure how the marketing components work if our email is done through google or some other service; as it seems wix does not do email accounts themselves as it refers me to other vendors to do email accounts. (does this question make sense?) - I am more on the visual design side, so I am a bit behind in what Wix can do and not do...
@@EcommerceGold sorry for the late reply, only seen this now,,,,,,,,,,, i don't really know, i don't have any experience on platforms, i am still on etsy and I am struggling to make sales,. i like the way wix gives you time unlike shopify
It's ok, most people don't reply. It depends on the type of product you are selling, for example do you sell customizable products? do you use third-party companies for order fulfilment such as print-on-demand? I would recommend having a read through this post as it might help www.ecommerce-gold.com/how-to-choose-an-ecommerce-platform/ Also, Shopify are currently offer 3 months for $1, which you can try out via my link www.ecommerce-gold.com/shopify

@@EcommerceGold how's their SEO? I was considering payhip if you've got any experience with them.

Hi, I am sorry if this question is really dense, but is Wix e-commerce completely different from a normal Wix website?
Hi, no it's not dense at all. They are the same thing, Wix is the website builder and the ecommerce is added with the Wix Stores app.
