No-SBMM is one of the greatest folleys of modern gaming not founded in good logic and reasoning and I dearly hope Ubi will see it's a marketing gimmick that doesn't even jive well with their other philosophies and at least implement a separate unranked SBMM queue in the future.

Can confirm: the MDR with heavy barrel is potentially meta. It might be a top 5 gun now with heavy barrel. I win gunfights against AK, ACR, and MP7 frequently with it
Let’s appriciate these developers that are really listening the community and trying to make the game enjoyable for everyone with all these constant good changes. Give them time, the game has a good potential, in my opinion.
It’s cuz the snowbite engine or whatever they use is fucking ass for fps hahaha they got a long road ahead to adjusting it and making it reasonably perfect. Hopefully they have good talent and hard workers to make it work out.

I mean with spider bot, just made something like pulling animation for it and make it so its only use the left arm so the player still be able to hipfire anyone who comes in their way... its balance that way, still slowed until it pulled out completly but still be able to contest the fight against people around you is going to be nice

I was suffering with the matchmaking taking forever with my ping. I'm glad they made this change. Now I can play more often instead of waiting 5 mins before jumping into a match. 5 stars for this update!!!🎉
Then Phantom would not have a constant passive ability anymore unlike all the rest of the factions. GSK "no headshot multiplayer" is pretty much as cheesy as that extra health and should be changed. Definitely also think that all factions should have the exact same hp
I love the Intel Suit update. I agree that it isn't what I was originally hoping for, but it _is_ a solution I hadn't considered, and I can see how impactful it will be. Realistically, it should just be enough information to help you make decisions, cover your flanks, etc., not literal wallhacks for your entire team. If I were to replace it entirely, I'd probably swap it with something more like Recon's Sensor Dart from Blops4. RE: Recoil animations - I have to wonder how many of the "bad hitreg" complaints were actually just due to the mismatched recoil animations. There definitely _are_ improvements to be made to the networking, but the recoil was likely a compounding issue. RE: Recoil recovery - This probably will continue to not matter much for automatic weapons, but I could potentially see big benefits for burst fire weapons.

Really like the direction the game is going and still have loads of fun after 150+ hours. I'd like to see the match duration at the end of a game, would be easier to track our score per minute and in general it's a useful and easy to implement info.
Played for about 2 hours! Game is rock solid. Didn’t see any new issues. Played Escort, Zone Control, Domination, Hot Shot, and TDM. Each multiple times. I hope the future remains bright for xDefiant for years to come🎉
Just a little tip for anyone who doesn't know: you can actually melee the spider bot when it jumps towards your face right before it hits you. It takes a bit of practice, but when you get the timing down it's relatively easy enough. But it's still super frustrating, when you get hit by one and then two enemies run at you and gun you down 👎🏼
I got my first bug ever with the Mag Barrier for the Phantons after this patch. It just got grey and I could not use it until I changed factions and then changed back to Phantos to unbug the cooldown. So I guess it not fixed, it just changed factions. lol
This is ridiculous that the recoil recovery is still busted like this. This was an issue all the way back in the alpha test and they STILL haven't fixed this.
I mean this isn’t a problem to get all hot and bothered by. If netcode is consistently being worked to be the best it should be and an attachment is not gettin fixed, imma choose netcode over an attachment. Look at cod mw3 still has launch problems and its a AAA company and people always talking about the problems that need fixing, but XD is gettin the work and love needed to make it great. So i guess take a chill pill.

I feel like I’m aiming better because I’m concentrating more on each single shot. It’s really good at challenging snipers or headglitches and holding angles yourself. But obviously it’s at a disadvantage against full autos in a movement heavy close range gunfight.
@@fuury09 could very well be that I don’t have the right attachments for it yet so I have to look into it, and side not but I find it pretty odd that the higher zoom scopes for the marksmen rifles aren’t unlocked earlier, seems odd to give it the red dot before something like a 3x or 4x zoom

2 other changes I think- Riot shield is harder to see through as viewing glass seems to have more of a pattern. And I felt the MDR had more of a trigger delay?? Maybe just me
Yeah.. I stopped playing because literally everybody runs mp7 with wall hacks or just runs phantom. The current state of gaming where everyone has to run the best most broken stuff is going to kill any fps. I love the game. I hate the player base.
Recoil recovery being non-existent is literally the only thing keeping me from using the M16. The M16 is supposed to have no recoil based on the fact that if you just shoot at a wall, the muzzle doesn't climb, but if you make any movement with your right stick at all, your muzzle starts climbing. I want to use the M16, but the lack of recoil recovery is making it feel terrible.
I have a perfect game suggestion for you to play instead: Call of Duty - Modern Warfare II (2022). Every single form of movement in that game is either discouraged, penalized or straight up removed from the game. The skill based matchmaking algorithm will ensure you consistently match up against people like you who don't know or care to learn how to press more than 3 buttons at once in your controller. The time to kill will ensure you can easily get kills by simply landing a single bullet in any region of the body. I think the game would be perfect for you. Hope you have fun. Have a good one!
They need to make it we’re every faction has the same health life. Phantoms need health the same is the other factions tired of shooting them first then getting killed by the bc of the extra health. Cleaners need the insendray bullets tooking away.
You didn't mention they actually changed the shooting the spiderbot off your face so you don't even have to look down anymore. You can fire at the enemy that spiderbotted you and take off the spiderbot at the same time now
Initially I thought echelon nerf was not enought but I play Fev hours I used the echelon and yeah I think echelon is in the right spot in terms of balance
I had a new issue where randomly I just couldn't aim down sights or reload and my screen reticle disappeared completely. After I died and respawned the issue went away haven't seen it since
Re. Intel suit; wall hacks are too good to be shared, so I feel they should be for that player only. If they feel that's too harsh, they could add a synergy, in that other Echelon players can also see these wall hacks, but other factions get radar pings. Whilst thinking synergies, I think it would be cool if Cleaners were immune to enemy cleaner abilities, creating a sort of rock/ paper/ scissors dynamic. Also makes sense logically as they are all in fire retardant gear...
The double barrel is actually quite good, but not something you take out on every map, and only 2 shots is a challenge, but on a map like Dumbo I have gone on 10+ killstreaks with it several times, and that is not normal for me, but I am forced into removing my head from under the arm, and play smart, but it works :) The AA12, is actually also quite funny. I have it gold, but mostly use it on arena. You do want extended mags for it. The M870, I really think they need to do something to that one, because that is just poor torture to use.
I've just had the sawed-off for like two days and leveled it since and omg is it inconsistent even at like 3 meters to the point where it made me clip and frame by frame replay a lot of moments (as a previous Shatterline PvP player where there's such a sawed off like secondary, the difference in consistency at intended range is ungodly) If primary shotguns are the same then I'll probably skip them all together until they rework pellet spread
The pellet spreads should be a fixed pattern. The inconsistency with the games net code and lag comp makes it impossible to tell what's off target or bad aim and what's bad RNG.
Still the stats are bugged, have been for weeks now. Nothing updates which throws shit off. The trends were super helpful in tracking if you were playing better or not, plus the overall numbers help.
It hurts the numbers more than it helps. You're slowing your ttk by a lot. Might be easier to control, easier to get shots in target, but under perfect conditions, it's actually hurting💯
With the new buff tho- heavy barrel WILL HELP. If it does 19, it will do 20 with heavy barrel making it a 5 shot kill to chest up close, so this could be an option l.
Does your controller have an extremely minor amount of drift? Maybe it's picking up the slightest amount of drift and it thinks you're still touching the controller

Phantom should not have 120 HP but instead 100 + 20 Armor plate. After the first gunfight the base HP should be 100

There is a screen jitter that happens sometimes when the spider bot jumps on your face and you try to look down.

Fix to spider bot. Make the health of it less. It takes more then 5 shots most guns. Make it able to destroy easy before it gets to you.

And make it shoot faster, it can actually shoot decently fast when kittet out right.

2 other changes I think- Riot shield is harder to see through as viewing glass seems to have more of a pattern. And I felt the MDR had more of a trigger delay?? Maybe just me

No mp7 nerf and no nerf phantoms faction, they have extra 20hp base health and a shield …
Yeah.. I stopped playing because literally everybody runs mp7 with wall hacks or just runs phantom. The current state of gaming where everyone has to run the best most broken stuff is going to kill any fps. I love the game. I hate the player base.
Recoil recovery being non-existent is literally the only thing keeping me from using the M16.
The M16 is supposed to have no recoil based on the fact that if you just shoot at a wall, the muzzle doesn't climb, but if you make any movement with your right stick at all, your muzzle starts climbing.
I want to use the M16, but the lack of recoil recovery is making it feel terrible.
Once again Ubisoft too late on the updates creating a huge black hole in their player pool.

I have a perfect game suggestion for you to play instead: Call of Duty - Modern Warfare II (2022). Every single form of movement in that game is either discouraged, penalized or straight up removed from the game. The skill based matchmaking algorithm will ensure you consistently match up against people like you who don't know or care to learn how to press more than 3 buttons at once in your controller. The time to kill will ensure you can easily get kills by simply landing a single bullet in any region of the body. I think the game would be perfect for you. Hope you have fun. Have a good one!

They need to make it we’re every faction has the same health life. Phantoms need health the same is the other factions tired of shooting them first then getting killed by the bc of the extra health. Cleaners need the insendray bullets tooking away.

You didn't mention they actually changed the shooting the spiderbot off your face so you don't even have to look down anymore. You can fire at the enemy that spiderbotted you and take off the spiderbot at the same time now

Re. Intel suit; wall hacks are too good to be shared, so I feel they should be for that player only.
If they feel that's too harsh, they could add a synergy, in that other Echelon players can also see these wall hacks, but other factions get radar pings.
Whilst thinking synergies, I think it would be cool if Cleaners were immune to enemy cleaner abilities, creating a sort of rock/ paper/ scissors dynamic.
Also makes sense logically as they are all in fire retardant gear...

m4, mdr and mp5 buffs yay! But 0 shotgun buffs makes me scared they think shotguns are actually in a good place rn

I gave up on shotguns a while ago, I thought maybe with attachments they'd be viable but boy was I wrong lol
The double barrel is actually quite good, but not something you take out on every map, and only 2 shots is a challenge, but on a map like Dumbo I have gone on 10+ killstreaks with it several times, and that is not normal for me, but I am forced into removing my head from under the arm, and play smart, but it works :)
The AA12, is actually also quite funny. I have it gold, but mostly use it on arena. You do want extended mags for it.
The M870, I really think they need to do something to that one, because that is just poor torture to use.
I've just had the sawed-off for like two days and leveled it since and omg is it inconsistent even at like 3 meters to the point where it made me clip and frame by frame replay a lot of moments (as a previous Shatterline PvP player where there's such a sawed off like secondary, the difference in consistency at intended range is ungodly)
If primary shotguns are the same then I'll probably skip them all together until they rework pellet spread
The pellet spreads should be a fixed pattern. The inconsistency with the games net code and lag comp makes it impossible to tell what's off target or bad aim and what's bad RNG.
Still the stats are bugged, have been for weeks now. Nothing updates which throws shit off. The trends were super helpful in tracking if you were playing better or not, plus the overall numbers help.

Heavy Barrel MDR is gross. Just have to adjust to recoil going up and left instead of up and right.
It hurts the numbers more than it helps.
You're slowing your ttk by a lot.
Might be easier to control, easier to get shots in target, but under perfect conditions, it's actually hurting💯
With the new buff tho- heavy barrel WILL HELP.
If it does 19, it will do 20 with heavy barrel making it a 5 shot kill to chest up close, so this could be an option l.

'Recoil Recovery' does absolutely nothing if your deadzone is 0
Does your controller have an extremely minor amount of drift? Maybe it's picking up the slightest amount of drift and it thinks you're still touching the controller
