- Kate, the Princess of Wales, announced she has completed chemotherapy treatments. In a video message, Kate described her cancer journey as "complex, scary and unpredictable" and said she is now focused on staying cancer free.

Even after chemo, the oncologist visits and blood tests and PET scans will continue regularly and forever. But it does give you a new found appreciation for life.
Guys you are such a dumbbbb audience, you'll believe anything you see, anything so pristine and edited can only be hiding the truth 😂 you don't look like that after chemotherapy 😂 nor do you need it for that long for cancerous cells that were already removed

I'm glad my allergies are acting up because this video was so beautiful it made me cry. The Princess of Wales is beautiful on the inside as on outside. This video shows how vulnerable she was, but how strong she was at her most down stage. The video shows the beauty of family with her and William children and her parents. God bless them.
Why do people like you not just say you cried without prefacing it with an "excuse," as if _expressing compassion_ by genuinely crying is _unacceptable_ or _shameful_ on its own. It's okay to be affected emotionally by good or bad news.

She may be in public and didn't want anyone to worry for her, and they may ask as to why she is crying, some people ask.

Wonderful news,not only for the princess herself,but her family as well.
What a lovely and humble message from Catherine, Princess of Wales. The montage of clips of showing her on her own and then coming together with her family is brilliant. Anyone facing cancer or a critical illness does face deeply personal and internal introspection and emotions. But she also shows that she understands the impact on her family and those close to her.
That she concentrates, not on herself, but on her family and other cancer survivors and somehow manages to share a message that is not "me, me, me" is evidence of how gracious she is.
She's no victim and doesn't need to play one to have the support of the majority of people.
This is good news. The best news.
And may Catherine continue to heal and her family only strengthen and take blessings from what she and they have faced.

PRINCESS CATHERINE - NOT KATE! That said, her video was so touching and authentic. I hope she writes a book about this journey. It will help many people.
She's still known here in the UK as Kate Middleton. It really doesn't matter... People called her Lady Di up until the day she died - and she was almost universally adored.
I doubt very much that Kate will write a book. Other than Prince Henry, it's not really the done thing for the royals to spill the beans.

@@Ron-Ayres I don't remember people calling Princess Diana - Lady Di. After her marriage and after her divorce she was known as Princess Diana. And, I think it does matter that the media is still calling Princess Catherine, Kate Middleton. She hasn't been "Kate Middleton" in 13 years, and I think it's disrespectful. As to Princess Catherine writing a book about her cancer journey would not be "spilling the beans" on anyone. It would be about a young woman with a husband and three small children facing what could be the end of her life. I suspect a book like that would help a lot of people with the same diagnosis.

Glad her chemo has come to an end but I fail to see why there was a need for this "video announcement" as if she is a candidate running for office or something. A short video taped statement would have sufficed to announce this - not a slick "campaign style ad".
