    What a way to end 1999. The 90s. The century and millennium. Of this great cartoon. Sort of way to say goodbye to an era and welcome to a new one. Still a deep episode. Still remember this as I was 6 to my current 29 year old self.

    Another little piece of information, while I know that continuity is far from SpongeBob’s strength, if we are to believe that SB 129 is canon, squidward is still stuck in a freezer throughout all of spongebobs future episodes.
    Talk about dark!

    I often think there is no specific purpose in life, and so it is up to you to reflect and find your own purpose, even if it just helping others find their way.

      I certainly agree with that sentiment. I've talked about your view of it in both my last Squidville video but also my Prior Family Guy video.
      I think that one's meaning of life doesn't necessarily have to be one thing only. It's whatever gives your life purpose. & that can obviously be a multitude of things 🙏🏼

    Kids can say the Red Mist episode was dark, but if they're smart enough, this episode would be the darkest thing they ever imagined.

    I think the biggest lesson of all from this episode was: don't do drugs

    could sb 129 be the reason why games, different spongebob shows, and movies existed?

    I should have token time travel machine driving class and squidward did go the void the worst place to be in between universes. I'm not Nihilistic because I followed my 2nd rule value those who value you something based on the losses of my experiences

    Have you seen Soul[2020]? I learned some of these lessons from that movie. The purpose of life is life itself. And not harming anybody.
    Is your name John Freitas?
    EG:I can walk as a normal person & I can be happy for that, because my grandfather can't walk straight because of age.But others take it for granted so they don't understand life's value and everything in it.
    If Squidward realised what he has,he wouldn't try to leave it in the first place.
    BTW,how was my list of channels in my channel section?I always wanted someone to find the best channels in YT.

    Nietzsche was right, here in Seattle there is truly an alarm sounding off when it comes to nihilism and its inhabitants. I am really going crazy here because of the fact that people are really like the citizens of Squidville. I walk a famous bike trail here called the Burke Gilman trail and the people act just like the Squids; robots, soulless people and I am mastering this crisis while I observe and ponder. It is killing my spirit and my soul is in shambles, however, Yahuah is my fortress. My purpose and my all. That's what keeps me going. I truly am strengthened by this time we live in. Becoming the master.

    I don't think the fact that more and more people are becoming less religious is a bad thing. I can see the world leaning more towards science, making more discoveries and progressing humanity forward into bigger things. I also think that religion/beliefs in a greater being/thing will always exist, just not in as many people. There are people who aren't religious but consider the possibility of something out there're that's bigger than themselves and I can see that thought always existing.

    • @TheMeaningOfNerd
      @TheMeaningOfNerd  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I can agree with that. At the same time, I'm just wary of people who completely give up belief as a whole because they no longer trust religion. Making them obsessed with unconsciously believing something else or treating things like science that are meant to be questioned, as religious dogma bc it's the only "religion" they know. I think either way, that it's very tricky bc humans, as you said, will always look for belief/faith in something.
