I feel bad that people were trying to "cancel" Dan over the Shelley Duvall segment of the livestream, when it was mentioned about Kubrick's mistreatment of her on set. Dan obviously doesn't condone abuse and didn't intend to make it sound like he thought it was justified because Kubrick did it. He just struggles to articulate sometimes, especially in front of viewers:(
