Thank you so much this was so helpful. I want to have two different phone numbers one for work and one for personal. And I was thinking I don't want to have two different phones and carry around two phones. LOL
This will be much better and less of a headache of keeping track of two phones.
He explained this so well that me being not tech savvy understood it. LOL

S23 does not seem to have options shown on video for assigning which sim does which. on sim manager
it just has primary sim. nothing for assign call messages and data. Im traveling so want e sim to handlle data but want my primary sim to handle calls.

fwiw you can set which sim to use on each individual contact on the S23. It's not bad if you are adding a new contact but going through your entire contacts list can be a bit cumbersome.

My Galaxy S23 Ultra does not allow selecting services for the different SIM :-(
From what I've read, it because it's programmed for purchase in the US. Just a heads up for those who want to travel and use their home carrier for calls and texts and a different eSIM for data.

Does your phone have 2-nano sim cards and a ESIM?

Are eSIMs region locked? On the US model, only AT&T, T-Mobile (including Metro), US Cellular, Verizon, and Xfinity are supported.

I have the S23 ultra using my work phone for the primary calls and texts. And have a data plan on the secondary esim.
As far as I can see, there is no clear thing telling me if data is being taken from the esim. Fault of Samsung OS or what, frustrated here.
