- Today we are checking out an awesome Super Mario Fan Game called "New Super Bowser World"! In this game, Mario and Luigi kidnap Bowser Jr. and so you play as Bowser trying to save your son! That's right Bowser is the GOOD GUY in this game!

the biggest missed opportunity here is that bowser should be moving left through levels, rather than right.

And also, the worlds could have been in the opposite order, like the first world being a volcano world, etc.
I can't believe Wario didn't say something like "Sorry, but Mario is in another castle."
Two things: the Queen Bomb was NOT a meat shield. A meat shield is a relatively weak enemy that blocks the fire from a more powerful enemy. An example would be a bunch of Hell Knights blocking rockets from a Cyberdemon in Doom II. 2) Fat people float better than skinny people, true, but muscly people who are girthy but with low body-fat percentage float way less well than fat people. Bowser's big but not fat, so he should sink. Also, IRL, most people are buoyant enough to float with their mouths above water (even in fresh water) without moving their arms or legs. Just lean back and relax.
imagine if bowser in the normal super mario games moved like this, he would be too smart and too op

Mario doesn't have to be the bad guy for Bowser to be the good guy. Just look at Mario RPG, or Bowser's Inside Story, or Super Paper Mario.

So basically, the author saw the Bowser levels from Thousand Year Door and decided to make a whole game out of those mechanics. Honestly, its surprising it took this long for someone to do that.
They say if you are mostly fat you float and if you are more muscle you sink. Since bowser went down like a submarine he must be all muscle. Goes to show jack black is muscle man.
Fun Fact: This was made on newgrounds because of Flash was ending. Sadly it got deleted but it did got archived! Yes, this was a SWF file. (Shockwave Flash)

Why would it have been deleted? Especially since flash still works on Newgrounds natively.
@@Shalakor no itself is deleted not flash kinda, like the flash project, but do you mean by getting the file and load it up in the newgrounds player because it does work that way
@@ScriptoDev In other words, the Newgrounds upload of the game got removed for some random unrelated reason? Mainly you were saying not to look for it there because it's not available, but people have grabbed it and kept it alive elsewhere.

Who else actually really wants a Mario game where you play as bowser, I’d 100% buy it (at least I want the reward for beating a Mario game to be “You can now play as bowser!”)

If you're not running WIN11, you can still get Flash to work. There's ways.
@@calanon534 That makes sense because flash ended in 2020 and a while later, windows 11 released, obviously they stopped using due to security issues.
@@ScriptoDev "Security Issues" was an excuse to push alternatives. Flash was disliked by many in executive board rooms for being cheap and very easy to get started with - why have a nearly-free product around when you can be sold a $60, $80, $200+ "game maker" piece of software? Not to mention any new accessories you might need..
Flash was killed out of greed, nothing more.

i like to think that this is based on the "koopa's revenge" flash game, it sounds kinda similar

ONE problem…In the original game the blocks were Toads turned into blocks by koopa magic, that give Mario powerups…so who got turned into blocks that are giving Bowser powerups?…did the bros. somehow learn koopa magic??
