    Greenpeace! This is a great START to publicizing the problem of plastic single-use containers, that they are nearly indestructible in material terms, and are not recycled (and won't be recycled for 85% of these materials). But-Coca-Cola is out out of millions of producers and/or consumers of such packaging. You should be making videos showing every multinational and their overuse of non-biodegradable materials. We are going to end up with a planet entirely covered in trash, and we'll be eating it as well...since micro-plastics are already present throughout the food chain (and worsening yearly).

    You guys need to focus on increasing the ANIMAL HABATAT!!!! We need to push Legislation to increase the size of federally protected land and Sea by 100x. And we need that space protected from hunters, roads, low flying aircraft, fishermen and tourists that litter and create waste. The DEVELOPERS are winning :(. every ocean has a line of houses on it, every lake and every river has houses being built on them. The natural habitats we have need to be protected on both land and sea. No fishing and netting zones need to be established. in 50 years the only way you will be able to see animals are 1. as pets, 2. in a Zoo and 3. In a small fenced off preserve. There will be no Habitat left for our grand children and the ocean will be mostly empty.

    I really agree with this sentiment, however this seems a bit reductionist. The prosess of making soda is quite complicated, it's not as simple as refilling a bottle with liquid. I myself have been using an at-home carbonator and mixing carbonated water with soda-syrup for years, but the product is not the same as a bottle I would buy at the store. The main issue is that it does not retain carbonation very long. Now there are obviously ways of doing a refill-system that could work, but it's not quite as simple as this short clip seems to suggest.
    There is no concrete plan for how a refilling or reusing plan could work in practice on Greenpeace's website. I agree that this is a major issue. But this video does not give me ideas as to how it could be fixed, because it assumes I don't care enough about the inner workings of the problem to see it solved.

    This is Political Discrimination. Its all of them not just this Company. Its unjust to point out issues of one company when many companies are the issue. All this causes is violence towards the companies, We don need to tare down Companies at the same time. A Percentage of the plastic recycling is recycled, So they are doing their part. They also have glass now, which dependent on the areas Development for Recycling practices is either positive or negative.
    Where is the responsibility for the public for littering? I never see this from Green Peace.
    We must bring this education Series of duality to Nonduality by also doling Humanity reasonable for littering.
    This type of plastic is generally more recyclable, Plastic garbage Bags are terrible.
    Which if its not recyclable, a lot of the issues are surrounding getting investors, affordable Recycling Equipment, Scientists, and/or the standard of living up in the area so the country may look at this type of recycling as a viable option.
    This commercial would have been more effective on education our youth the importance of going to school, university to study plastic recycling
    Because they are our future, and we are now in a state where we need scientists that love our world to dedicated themselves to solving the recycling issues, like the low emissions fuel plants.

    The problem is not the plastic. The problem is the countries who do not recycle the plastic. It really is that simple. Don't blame the material. Blame the governments who allow it to get to the ocean

    • @brullotj
      @brullotj 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The REAL problem is that we have been MISLEAD to believe that plastic is recyclable. The truth is an ugly one -- at most we can expect to recycle 15% of the plastic waste stream. And that's ONLY if companies are willing to pay to do this. It is expensive.
      The petrochemical industries hired lobbyists and publicists in the 70s-80s to 'spin' this problem away. Major petroleum producers even funded 'recycling' initiatives (just long enough to get favorable legislation passed for themselves) in order to scam the public that we could 'solve' our plastic production problem by recycling. The men who headed these projects have now publicly revealed these policies (just in the past 5-10 years). Too late to save their souls (if you believe in such), and too late for the planet! The damage to the public mind has been done. Now people believe we can just keep on using single use plastics, and that ultimately we can repurpose the materials. We really cannot.
      What needs to happen is that manufacturers either use glass, bioplastics, or some other kind of actually renewable material.

    • @susanataylesburygranulatio9912
      @susanataylesburygranulatio9912 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@brullotj You are completely incorrect. I run a recycling business. Plastics such as those in this video (PET) and many many many others are all 100% recyclable, and are recycled. I know I do it!
      Glass is so much worse for the planet - please do some research. Look at the Plastics Paradox if you do not believe me.
      Bioplastics contaminate plastic waste streams and renders them unrecyclable.
      You do not know the truth - you are repeating what you have heard in the media.

    • @susanataylesburygranulatio9912
      @susanataylesburygranulatio9912 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Hunter Scout You are utterly wrong. At 30% recycled volume plastic can be recycled over and over for 10 - 15 times. Cardboard fibres reduce in size each time they are recycled and can therefore only be recycled 3-4 times. Plus the weigh more and therefore have a great carbon footprint.
      My business Is NOT state funded. I have invested my own money into it. We recycle numbers 1,2,5, and 7.
      I'm guessing that you are in America, where you have great land masses so most people do not care so much about shoving stuff in the ground.
