That’s an amazing time, congrats. I’m at 1:39 with my GT4, goal is 1:37 next. You are flying! I’m running full stock other than track alignment and pads. I think my OEM front tire size is limiting my front grip. Nice lap.
Nice work! Wider rubber up front definitely helps out with a more balanced feel and reducing mid-corner understeer. I’m running the Nankang CRSv2’s on my GT4RS right now as a 200TW 20” option and I really like them.
How does the 305 tire fit on the 10.5" wheel? I'm also considering the 19" Apex wheels. Apex recommended the 10.5" wheel since I have TPC toe links which has minimal clearance with the 11" wheel. My concern is that the 305 might not be optimal. Great lap !
That was my concern as well with the 10.5” wheel but I didn’t have any issues running the 305 Supercar 3R’s on it anymore. At the time too only the 10.5” were available for me when ordering (11’s were out of stock). As long as you have the toe links either should be fine.
-2.9°F, -2.4°R for camber. .04° total Toe-in F, .27° total toe-in R. Feels extremely balanced along with the wider rubber up front and mild aero additions.
I have my next Laguna Seca day in a week. Getting new Cup2s tomorrow. Played my fastest lap next to your video. I’m so in reach of this with a little more courage. Our apex speeds are almost identical (except T6) but your lap is 5 sec quicker. You are on throttle just a half sec later before braking and you’re on throttle a sec before I am. I notice my cup2s are squealing through the video while your supercar 3Rs seem silent and grippy. Gonna watch this video 50 times before next weekend. New personal best is within reach.
Thanks for watching! The Cup2’s are definitely a noisy tire. The SC3R’s have superb grip comparatively speaking. If you go down to 19’s I highly recommend them. Definitely try getting on the throttle a little sooner and easing into it. Wish I could make the track day since I know a lot of people who will be there, but I can’t 😢 Have fun!
@@ontrack-offroad thank you for the info. I’ve started looking at the Apex 19” wheels so I have more tire options. My goal this weekend is to brake less and allow the car to carry more speed into the turn and then focus on getting into throttle earlier.

Thats looks fun! What toe settings do you use?
