@@melian7403 My male was looking up at the screen, and then, just like yours, curled up and went back to snoozing. He is not tuxedo like the cute little kittens, more a harlequin, and more white than anything, except for the tail, his back and 2 patches of tabby on the head, with a little on his nose. Cute cat as all who see him are saying, and completely different to the hissing fleabag he was when I got him at the beginning of the year. A genuine door cat.

I never knew newborns could hiss. So spicy and that baby's eyes aren't even open yet.
Before I forget, I want you to know your channel was what helped me a few months ago when my family and I found an abandon stray kitten. We did follow the recommendation of making sure the kitten wasn't abandoned and checked throughout the day that it's momma was coming back. By the end of the day there was no signs the mom wasn't coming back and as a storm was brewing (it was cold and windy the whole day), I made the call to take in the kitten to see what we can do.
For the first few weeks I was glued to your videos learning as much as I could to make sure this kitten was going to survive. And you were right how any kitten introduced to bottle fed can be a hassle, but with patience that you recommended the little guy was able to understand the feeding process the next day. The first week or so I didn't want to say anything on social media terrified the kitten wasn't going to make it, and with the information I gathered, he was underweight of what was recommended for a kitten his age. But as the days turned into weeks, into the day the kitten was able to eat kitten kibble I was able to breathe confidently he was going to be okay.
So thank you for your inspiring channel as this was coming from someone who had no knowledge or intended to have knowledge to care for a fragile kitten. It was stressful that it was happening just as lock down was starting all over in the country and was limited with supplies or having the shelter's guide in the scenario. In the end, I decided to keep him and name the little guy Bilbo (found him in a hole in the ground in a tree,) he is a happy and healthy kitten who has surprisingly grown since we found him.
My female cat was freaking out the entire time I was watching this in the cutest way possible. She came over to my laptop and started pawing at it, trying to get under it, etc trying to find kittens!

JUBEN And he will end up being the most snuggly affectionate little bug. That’s been my experience with fostering. The ones that start off as Mr/Miss Hissypants end up being the most loving!
Over on Tiny Kittens, they have a litter that was hissing so much that the colony guardian thought they were having trouble breathing.
I think the heat pack was way too hot/warm, could’ve been panting!
I watched this without my AirPods and ended getting them anyway because my mom barged into my room half asleep “Do we have any cats in here?” 😹😹😹☠️

I'm fostering in the UK... I just got a mamma and 4 kittens :) You don't have to go to a shelter, there will probably just be smaller rescuers closer to you... the people I foster for are just two ladies who run a charity near me, just from their homes, not a shelter. Just google and ask around if you want to foster... its the most fun and rewarding thing x

I was on the sofa, watching the video, and as soon as the kittens started screaming, my cat ran over very concerned and tried to find them 😂
So he‘ll probably be a great big brother when I get a second cat 🧡
LillySty my cats used to care but many litters of foster kittens later their reaction is basically “oh good they aren’t actually here.” 😂
My male cat, who loves bathing and playing with kittens, did the same thing. He even lets kittens nurse on him 😂

How cute! I just recently found kittens behind a store in a bag in a box, took them to a vet and now I’m fostering them! We just found good homes for the four of them! But sadly one passed (we had five originally) but I’m really happy taking care of them, they make me oh so happy! I hope whoever is reading this has a nice day/afternoon/night! Stay safe everyone!

mine are sleeping next to me.😄 but they were also neutered/spayed before going into their sexual maturity so they don’t have any of that behavior

We fostered our first and got them 2 weeks ago during this. They gave us 2 sentences of info, and said come back in 2 weeks for shots. You are the only reason I know how to help them 😊

5:37 "I sure hope they look somewhat different" God I feel that, I picked up a foster litter of three-week-olds from my rescue a few days ago and they're _all goddamn brown tabbies._ But three have white socks and one doesn't, so I tell him apart that way; of the three that have socks, one has longer socks; and one of the remaining two is fluffier. Still, it takes conscious effort for me to tell them apart sometimes lol
i have seven foster kittens right now and 3 are black-backed tabbies that look the same. i had to get the liquidlipstick out and dot their ears so i can tell them apart 😂 luckily the 3 white ones are all different (one has a stumpy tail, one has a tiny grey splotch on her head, and the other one is... the other one 😂) number 7 is a manx like his mama and he looks like a chipmunk
I never fostered but my cat had 5 babies, 4 of which were gingers with white bellies. They were all very similar, apart from one who was smaller and you could notice the difference. To top it all, they were all females 😂 but i was the only one who can tell them apart. My mom would confuse all of them and give up and call all of them Cilla 😂

Yep, very good precautions, disinfecting everything constantly. As a matter of fact, there are new record highs in daily infections, second wave is hitting, due to many rules being softened. Be careful and stay safe, everyone. Better two or three extra weeks of precautions than getting infected.

I really appreciate seeing someone take precautions. For the people that scoff, if you are wrong you get it and may make someone die. If I'm wrong, I wasted some Lysol and time. For me it's an easy choice since I live with high risk family members.

We rescued a 2 week old kitten. I slept bedside her, gave her warm bed, made sure to give her milk on time. But sadly she passed away last night. Me, my husband and son cried for hours .I'm so heartbroken. I failed her. I'm so sorry. We love you.
Unfortunately that just happens sometimes with fragile babies... it even happens to Kitten Lady from time to time. But you did your best for the baby and that’s what matters ❤️ Maybe someday you can try again and you’ll get to see that kitten grow all the way up!

This is specialised fostering and God bless you for it. It’s not just the equipment that most of us don’t have, it’s the knowledge and skill sets that you have acquired over the years and goodness knows how many kittens. I've been around cats for the majority of my sixty one years, but only ever lived with ten including the the two kittens I have now. Three of those that have passed reached twenty.

I so loved watching this. We lost our beloved cat to kidney failure in April and we are now waiting for our bottle fed new kitten to be old enough to come to us from the RSPCA. (UK). The litter is 8 weeks on Friday. It is agony! He is going to be so loved, everything is ready for him including our grieving hearts. Watching you makes me even more appreciative of the foster carers who raised him. 💐
Well, you convinced me. I’m picking up my first foster kittens tomorrow. A litter of three from my local shelter. They’re already on wet food, not bottles, but they have upper respiratory infections and are on oral medication. Wish me luck!!!

The little gray one has my heart. We lost our 17 year old gray boy last year after a long battle to keep him well. He had pancreatitis, kidney failure and heart problems. It was constant nursing care. But eventually his quality of life couldn't be maintained. I miss him so much

Two reasons why I could never do what you do. 1. I need my beauty sleep, and I sleep like a log once I'm out so I might sleep through their feeding. 2. all the cleaning and organization. Spay and neuter instead. That saves many more lives.

Yes, that is a beautiful dream, I hope you find a way. I saved a kitten recently, fixed her, and made the mistake of giving her up for adoption at a place that was recommended to me. I had already signed her over and then saw where they put her, in a tiny cage for 2 days!! They told me they had room for her, I presumed a big room separate from other cats but spacious. I was wrong. I begged and offered $1000 to get her back, they wouldn’t let me. I am tormented to this day. I should have kept her. Thank you for your efforts. Trying to home a neighbor’s semi-feral cat now.

Hey, I feed street kitten, there is a teen cat who gives birth to kittens, the cat is very weak she doesn't even eat anything just some milk, she is very thin too, I never have any experience with kittens,, I used to watch this channel for so long, but I never been in a contact with any shelter and any younger kittens

I’d look into getting the cat spayed/neutered & also the kittens when they are old enough! Milk is not the best unless it is specifically for cats. If the cat is not eating she could be stressed or unwell, if possible creating a safe spot for her and her kittens may be a good idea. I’m sure its tough right now with corona but please try get in contact with a vet. Please keep us updated with what happens and best of luck!!

Little feral kittens are the best. It's absolutely the most rewarding thing to see them adapt to humans, and their lil feisty hisses are just so ridiculous and adorable! Plus there's no harm in a tameable kitten being a bit spicy at first since it won't last. That little tux is the absolute cutest!

My neighbors moved away really fast as soon as the lock down took effect back in March. They left two young female cats behind! I took them in and fed them and put flea collars on them but I can’t keep them and everything was shut down! I noticed that the cats were “lumpy” and soon realized that they were both pregnant! They are loving beautiful cats. Not only am I not allowed pets at my home, but I have a 4 year old who is a very slow learner when it comes to how to love on cats. The cats are not very safe, and my kid is getting scratched a lot. Anyway, May 15th one litter was born and May 18th another litter was born. I now have 11 kittens, two mommas, and no where for them to go! Not to mention daddy cat keeps trying to come by too! They are all safe and healthy, and your videos have kept me going! Only a few more weeks and I can get mommas spayed and maybe catch daddy too. Hopefully SPCA will be open. 😇

Please get her spayed and the kittens spayed or neutered. Don't contribute to the problem. It's not cute that you should have kept your fertile cat inside and were irresponsible enough to let her breed or that those kitten are going to take away homes for cats and kitten dying in shelters.
