Thomas, you are having a great experience and must be in a great school but there is the good, the bad and the ugly... and people need to do their research before accepting a job in UAE. I had some fun in Dubai but it is not for everyone.

Great video thanks. I am starting my PGCE next week as a secondary History teacher. I plan on trying to do my NQT year in Dubai. In the video you mention experience helps when applying for a job. I taught English in Vietnam for 2 years. Would this experience count considering I will applying for a job as a History Teacher?
I'd personally recommend more time i as a teacher in the UK to get a wider variety of jobs/ better pay but it's up to you.

Hi Tauqeer, each school has their own requirements for qualifications. It is best to seek requirements on the websites suggested within the video. Hope this helps.

Is it possible to get a TA job in Dubai without having a teaching qualification?

Is there primary pe teachers over there ?? If so is it difficult ?
How do you go about choosing which jobs to apply for? Most of the jobs on the guardian and tes come from outside companies that don’t even give the schools name... how do you know what is right for you?
Sorry to hear that. Personally, TES was my favourite. Using the filters allowed me to find jobs in Dubai but took patience.

Do most schools offer accommodation to staff? What sort of pay is expected out in the UAE compared to the UK?
I'd say most do yes. Pay wise significantly varies from school to school. Most pay 9000-1400 relating to experience
