Yes powerful words of wisdom in the words of God. Someone i cared and loved as a sister betrayed me but God told me to not hold any offense towards her but to forgive her and let go. I did as instructed and i've let God work in me day in and out. Right now i'm so busy with the things of God i have no time or energy to think of any negativity. Let God be our strength.

Yes, truly it's easier said than done but it's compulsory, it's necessary, it's not optional. you must forgive and move on if you want your heavenly father to forgive you too and answers your prayers. In our own strength we're not capable, in father GOD all things are possible and we an do all things through Christ Jesus our Lord and saviour but we have to yield ourselves to HIM to work through. Have a particular man of God that I diligently served him and his household and all he and his wife did was castigate and say terrible things about me behind my back, I heard everything and still continued to serve them. But for the past three years I've come to detest them and have exhausted all the respect I have for them and have kept my distance. I really tried my best to still love them but, the fact that they feel entitled to my loyalty and respect despite all they've done to me takes the cake, God knows I really can't deal with people that feel entitled. I've made up my mind that they gonna have to earn my respect and trust back. I fear I'm gonna say truthful words that are hurtful to them pretty soon.
I know how hurtful it can be, but you need to let it go. You may need to avoid them for now while you allow the Holy Spirit work on your heart. His grace is sufficient.
