I just turned 60.
Started in a gym last week for first time in my life. Discovered how weak I'd become since stopping work 3 years ago I used to paint houses for a living. Body aching like Fxxk from working out.

One thing i take note in eddie is that he has a great burst of energy out of nowhere to lift his last few reps witch you dont see it in many lifters he's a great athlete 💪

35kg on shoulder press for dumbbells was a 2 year journey for me to get 10 reps with so to see tommy fury struggling with them gave me the confidence boost I needed.
And he was only doing quarter reps

I do 20kg dumbbells standing. It took me 10 months going gym 1.5 times a week to get here. Overhead pressing is HARD

The only reason that the weight is more likely to result in injury during the bottom half of the movement is because the weight is too heavy ... Basically , if you cannot perform the bottom half of the movement then use a lighter weight ...
With the reverse peck deck, what is the benefit of having your hands above your shoulder and not atshoulder height? Is it a comfort thing or is there a benefit to the exercise?

Eddie, mannn you're my fookin idol mate (I'm joking with the accent, I genuinely love your stuff Eddie). One day I wish to meet you and train with you, that would be a whole lot of fun :p
Could you guys do some workouts that the bronze era body builders did like Vince Geranda I'm not sure I spelled his last name correctly. I think that would make for a great video suggestion. Because there's just one exercise I like a lot. You could either do with a barbell or two dumbbells and it's like you're doing your shoulder shrug while keeping your arms up like in a bicep curl when you come to the top but you're isolating both arms keeping them Bennett 90° and your shrugging the weight and then retracting your shoulder blades by going in a circular motion with the weight and your hands and that works your traps all your arms biceps shoulders and your rhomboids at the same time. Even when I do it without wait I'll put my hands up like a a boxer that is defending himself and then I'll bring my arms up but not all the way but keep it on at 90° angle where my elbows are slightly bent and I'll just shrug and then move my shoulder blades back and then down and then move my arms out the front pretty much in a circular motion. and I feel really good in my middle back and my traps and it's a good feeling it's completely different than what most people you see in the gym nowadays you don't really see him doing exercises like that. I think there would be a good market for exercises that actually work but have never been done the gym for a long time. It would be great to bring back those kind of exercises. The one of the reasons why I like those type of exercises because the bodybuilders back then they were all natural and had some of the most amazing physiques ever. I'm planning on doing any Eugen sandow routine is part of my training to see if I can actually lose some weight and get shredded...
