The CV radiator fits beautifully in the opening of the 65 core support if you raise it up a couple inches. Like it was meant to be there! I crossed this bridge on my own build :) Looking great, wish I had the patience you do!
Although I may never do a swap like this, it's not hard to see the excellence in your work. Really nice job Lucky. Thank you for having us over. Be well.
I was thinking about what you said about drilling holes in the bumper if needed for cooling. How about cutting rectangles to mimic the shape of the signal lights. That truck is going to be sweet. Love it.
Love the build. I recently did a f250 crown Vic swap. I’ve put about 6000 miles on it so far and love it. BTW why don’t you have more subscribers. Your channel is great. COME ON PEOPLE, SUBSCRIBE!!!
Will you be doing the hockey puck trick between the cab and bed of the truck like you did on Crown Hick? That really seemed to stiffen the whole body/chassis up.
At the 0:21 mark. Is that a exhaust cutout coming from under that Ranchero's fender.? Something that you don't see very often anymore. And do I detect a little bit of a limp Lucky.? Hope everything is OK. 6=8.
Please let me bring my 84 C10 project to your shop, easy project (HeHe) LS3, Tremec 6spd, re-wire, coil over and everything thing else. Close by Temecula
I don't mean to tell a guy how to work, but you really should wear some gloves / sleeves if you are going to weld that much. I would have a heck of a sunburn if I did that.
That being a cop car I wonder what it’s been through. I wonder if anybody out there Ican connect the dots and tell us what the car is been through in it’s past years.
I nearly daily a 2007 CVPI to keep the mileage off my 17 f250. It was a former el centro, CA fire inspectors car. 230k miles but only 320 idle hours. I’m sure it just drove around to fire scenes. I am also doing a swap like this with a 2008 former Las Vegas metro pd cruiser and a 1969 Sweptline. When tearing the 08 apart I found a lot of those little pouches to test narcotics under the trunk liner. Also found 2 pocket knives behind the wiper cowl plastic. My guess is they pulled the knives off suspects and left them on the roof then they slid down the windshield next time they hit the brakes. I’ve read that some guys find lots of strange things when tearing into the old cvpis.

No matter how many times I see that Col Sanders sign, I always chuckle and think to myself. HOLY SHIT HE DOES LOOK LIKE HIM!
Heck Yeah!, drill some holes in the front bumper, for better air intake for the twin turbskis!.

Dont forget, You need to box in the cab corners where it was cut.
Sweet.
Thanks!
Another great video. One question, what is the special fuel pump called, and how is it better?

Lookin good lucky! Have you given any thought to what wheels you are gonna put on the truck?
Would it make any sense to do your isolator trick (hockey puck or not) in between the frame and the body?
where is lucky's garage located im a follower he's very good I want him to work on my car suspension one day if I can afford him
Off topic here but will project x be getting a hood? I know that motor is tall.
Saweeeeeet
The truck body on a Crown vic will be a cruiser? I see what you did there.

Lucky get some gloves to weld...

Had a guy in our shop that did all of his welding in a tank top. His chest was as red as anything you could imagine.
Not mention skin cancer
