DO NOT PLAY Fires with Response // Resurgence, I tried it, but it did not work, watch out, the software might be corrupt on this. After my second main phase I played Resurgence to get an extra attack, instead, it passed the turn. It clearly says after this main phase there is an additional combat phase, or maybe I understood that wrong.
The only thing I can think of is if you had already attacked on your first combat phase and all of your creatures were already tapped, then cast resurgence on second main. you would have a second combat and a third main phase, but if you had no untapped creatures and no other plays, the client would automatically pass to their turn.
Wait I don’t get it, in game 1 when nassif was at 8 why didn’t Seth play the 3rd first striker dude it would have been lethal because they pump each other so it would 11 incoming blocking 1 still 8 damage incoming ?? They have haste and he was tapped out right?
'Cause Fervent Champion only gives +1 to one other knight, not each knight. So would have been three 2 power Champions plus 2 satyrs swinging for 8, Sphinx blocks one and Nassif takes 6.
@The Creative Contingent nope 1st grinding it's life total then try to find something else is what you should do to win with monored 2nd even if you find nothing useful it's fine you've removed dead draws from the deck and increased the chances to kill him the next turn 3rd you're just saying "if you find nothing it's gg" thanks to the fact that nassif topdecked clarion but if he played as a true monored player (killing the oppo as fast as possible)the "right play" had granted him the win
