Wagakki Band has a large sound and effects department at their concerts. Machiya (the guitarist) is in charge of the arrangement and is the sound engineer behind it all. He also has the last word even though Yuko is the boss. He is also behind at least 50% of the songs they write themselves, including this one. Recommend one you can't miss 和楽料バンドWagakki Band:鏡花水月(Kyoukasuigetsu)+海天叫ぶ夜(Tsukini sakebuyoru) - REACT tour 2019 (sub CC)
"Different is good", how right you are Bryan. My introduction to Wagakki Band was the reaction you did recently, and I immediately fell in love with them. Their blend of traditional Japanese instruments and style with western music simply works so well to my ears. I also really liked the reaction a few days ago to The Hu, similar story. As I've said before I'm an old grey haired British rocker who remembers bands like Black Sabbath and Deep Purple as 'new bands', and I'm so glad that I've lived long enough to experience the wave of new bands and music that we now are getting from other parts of the world. Wonderful stuff, Thank you for doing these reactions.
I would have loved to have been at this concert where they played Guernica: th-cam.com/video/QnKTwuwe6E8/w-d-xo.html If you haven't watched this, you have no idea what you are missing.
