I believe he was killed with the arc welder. Electrocution, then a slow fire. He grabbed the propane as he exited the scene. The burns from the electrocution were covered up by the fire. He could have also Turned the man into a circuit. Remember the Doomer was an Electrical engineer who knew the melting point of circuits.
Exactly. I'm fairly certain this is a case of an actual murderer killing somebody directly, and getting away with it. I think the entire idea of hiring someone to help him, and keeping them in his basement was all to build plausible deniability when he killed him.
IDK. I'm a third generation electrician, and I've been around long enough to know that a lot of this could be explained simply by paranoia, carelessness, and arrogance. The bunker building community isn't exactly known for rational thought, careful planning, and regulations. This "bunker" was a literal maze of fire hazards and dead-end passages. Even the victim's lack of clothing can be explained by the fact that the tunnels didn't have proper ventilation or climate control, making them quite hot. He probably removed them while working, to keep cool, since literally nobody else was down there. He was also locked in, had nothing more than a bucket for a toilet, no shower, and no extra clothing to change into. He likely was dirty, smelling pretty ripe, and had clothing that wasn't really worth wearing at that point. In many cases, things that look sinister on the surface are actually the result of incompetence and hubris. Look at the Nuclear Boy Scout. Kid tried to build a nuclear device in a shed. Sounds bad at first, but he was actually just trying to build a breeder reactor. Still a big "Oh crap" situation, but not an act of malice. Stupidity tends to be the root of most things.
@@SkunkApe407 I came here to say this. Dude was obviously somewhere on the spectrum and a hoarder on top of that. I will say the fact he lead him to barred windows seems sketchy at best or at the worst criminal
Watching the parts with the father, about what his family went through is truly heartbreaking. I feel so bad for them having to deal with this senseless loss. How terrible.😢
The most tragic part of this (other than the parents loosing their only boy) is the justice system failing once more… 1 year less then the minimum is a laugh in the face of the victims family…
Even if Daniel didn’t kill the kid with his own hands he definitely did by negligence. If a breaker is tripping that often theres is SERIOUS FUCKING PROBLEMS. As an electrical engineer you definitely know that, i know it as an electricians apprentice.

16:38 yes it is really that stinky. It obviously isn’t stinky until you actually cut it open. But a lot of countries in Asia will tell you know you cannot eat that fruit inside because you will stink up the whole place. And I’ve tried it. I couldn’t get past the smell. 😂😂😂
Likely the judge found there wasnt enough evidence and dismissed that charge, which he or she can do, if they find the evidence to be insufficient so the minimum wasnt applicable. The c,onviction. The sentencing was for a lesser included offense
If he murdered him, intentionally...why would he choose such a noticeable way of doing it. It seems like this guy may have known chemicals but not knowing electrical situations. He probably had 20 things like shop lights, hammer drills microwaves refrigerators fans all plugged into the same power strip with an extention cord plugged into a single outlet. Main thing I see is given how paranoid this idiot was I don't think he would set up a murder that involved setting fire to his house which would bring the firedepartment and police to come looking around

Yeah wtf
I seen that too literally no regrets

What is an example of a "general Apocalyptic scenario?" Like, the arrival of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse? How would a bunker help with that?
I dont think he hurt him purposefully. I think he just didn't care enough to put himself in even the tiniest amount of danger to help him.
