You brought up a good point in that if we create a "dual purpose" planner, particularly a planner/wallet, then we're more likely to use our planner. For years I've kept a traditional wallet, but it's function is a bit outdated now that we have cards from nearly everywhere. Gone are the days when we kept a wallet solely to house cash and family photos. Time for something more practical and it just may be the planner.
New subscriber. Love this video! I've been wanting to try finally making a planner a wallet for a long time,so before I did,it's nice to be aware of the advantages and disadvantages. I'm going to try it and I'm so glad to have your channel now to binge watch!👍🤗🧡
Cheryl Yunker Hey Cheryl! I’m thinking about getting a Franklin Planner compact binder. Since their binders don’t have a zipper, what do you put your loose change in?
@@TonyaPlans I actually have just a generic ring binder that has card slots in the front, and it has a zipper pocket, but I have a clear plastic zipper pouch that I keep my money in. It works very well for me.
Great video! I am expecting my Malden in the mail this week so this is very helpful! I'll be using it a a planner/wallet combo. Thanks for sharing your awesome ideas :)
I have the personal Malden as well. I took the rings out because I prefer bound books but I use mine as a wallet also. It’s been great to have everything together!
And with your planner as a wallet you always have a section to write down notes , it maybe something that you see while out on errands that you want to write down, the paper is in your planner and best of all it’s refillable, I like that.
I have the same ochre Malden and am using it as a wallet now. I have to say, I am really loving the practicality of it. Do you use yours when you travel as well?
I’ve used the planner as a wallet too. I have an A4 for my kitchen counter (since I work from home) and I use the A6 fiilo fax wallet for my purse, however, I’m thinking of going back to the 6-ring planner for a wallet because the filo-fax wallet rings are too shallow.

Hi Suze! I don't travel often. Is the Malden helpful while traveling? I would imagine it is.
