If you are valuing the cycling of your deck with strike a good match, boss is on a roll allows you to see 5-10 cards versus 2-4 cards and while it isn't "thinning" the deck in the conventional sense, it does get you to things much faster
@shaggyhopkins yeah but the use case Quantum laid out is about the thinning of the deck and getting to things faster. Imagine singing boss, stacking a friends, playing a rabbit to get the friends, etc.
@shaggyhopkins If you're talking strictly about drawing more cards, sure, strike lets you draw a card right away and see the top 2. If you're trying to get to goat and snake to close a game faster, seeing the top 5 and just teleporting the goat and snake/fox or friends to the top is probably the more efficient move

Given that most of your deck is so low cost, you are bound to find something playable and have in hand right away.

Big Ursula plus goat already on board. Goat quest, double sing bippity on goat then bounce replay goat with snake. 7 lore
What is a good matchup against amber/steel song?? Half if not more folks in my locals play amber/steel song 😂i’ve been avoiding them in the rounds lately but i’ll get them eventually
Thoughts on how R/A can combat this? I followed your R/A vid, and Last Ditch Effort is a must for Ursula. Thoughts on teeth and pinnochio returning in a R/A follow up video? Or another Last Ditch Effort? Maybe Befuddle now that I think about. 🤔

It depends on what you feel comfortable with. This is a good deck if you see a lot of control and not too much Steel. RA is average into everything. RS struggles into aggro but beats Steel.
I've been playing E/A for a little over a month now and I love the deck so I appreciate the video. Is there a reason you don't play any copies of 6 drop Genie as extra interruption? I personally play two copies with the only difference in our decks being I don't have the one copy of Strike a Good Match and 1 less Followers. Love your videos man!
Knowing full well it’s far from optimal, for those who simply can’t afford the Ursula, is there a budget option you would recommend? I realize it would hurt the competitiveness of the deck, but I’m ok with that 🤣
I'm curious too! I'm diving head first into the game and buying as many cards as I can whilst avoiding the expensive stuff if possible. Who knows how long I'll stick with the game, but I've been enjoying it so far.
It's tough to say since Ursula does a LOT for the deck. Not necessarily replacements, but the 3 drop Maleficent count could be maxed out since she replaces herself and sings all the songs. Other choices could include an extra Kit Cloudkicker, Wildcat for item removal, although it is a bit slow and almost always will be dealt with immediately. Magic carpet could be a niche choice for free location movement.
No Ursula does really hurt the deck as a single draw 4 off it is sometimes enough gas for you to win the game (consistently dropping threats). You could opt for more aggro, since the longer you let the game go on the less chance you have to win.
Love your Content and u are in my opinion a very good Player. We play a Store Championship with only 16 Player...1 BS 1 AS and 2-3 play RA..i think BS is very Solid can u share a BS decklist pls.

Yeah I tested BBB but it was really hard to find a position where I would be able to cast it for advantage. So I opted for more card draw lol

Sapphire Steel with a Cogs is the best. They sing AWNW and just let you ramp more and cogs ruins all the steel cards

Sapphire decks beat Amber Steel... the main ones in the format are Steel and Ruby variants, with the Ruby variant having the better match-up.

I probably wouldn’t go with Pinocchio if you’re running ditch. You can definitely look at including teeth in the build again though.

You could opt for Genie over Yzma, but Yzma can have some benefit of letting you draw too. Thanks for the support.
What about item bounce cards like wildcat or has set my heart to banish items?
It's a tech card for sure, but this deck focuses on aggro, you don't want to slow things down to play control if you can avoid it.
