Fantastic campsite right along the Salmon River! That was a rock! Haha. What a great view of the water and the mountains next to the rod & Gun Saloon. Really looks like an old western town. The mountains are stunning heading out of town. Alvin was cute! You are blessed to be able to experience the beautiful scenery out there, Shirley.

Beautiful night sky! We have a fav camping spot where we get a little visitor, as well.

It’s fun to have wildlife around. Those chipmunks were certainly not afraid of humans.

Nah! People in the city would far much rather hear the traffic and the horns and the jets
and the constant sirens of the city, the hawkers yelling at each other across the street corners
the sour garbage smell in the window, and the heat wafting from the pavement.
Now THAT'S real life, they say! Keeps them from hearing those BIG THOUGHTS that ALWAYS try to rise up.
The native people claimed that the Land belonged to the Great Spirit...so then the city must belong to men!

They can have all that and I will take the peace and quiet! Thanks for watching and commenting Bill.

@@FollowingtheYellowBrickRoad So much staggering beauty for us to see. Did you see this canyon below Challis on 93? The cheap, wide-angle camera lens diminishes just how SHEAR the walls are inside inside it. So, you're just riding in the round hills and suddenly...! Just like the steep, loose mountainsides along the Salmon.
