Filipinos are not fools. They know what’s going on with the government. However, they became callous. They are now in acceptance that the government is nothing but a show of failed democratic process. But there is no democratic process. They see that those who has money remains powerful. And the powerful works for the government. So, where should they run for help. Nowhere.

Ironic that a communist led government in Vietnam, and an authoritative leadership like in Singapore... is much more progressive and efficient in running a government compared to a Democratic ruled based government by the Philippines. Do you think it is time for us to have an authoritative people backed government? Where discipline and strictness is upmost importance?

@@hakhaimo Filipinos rejects the notion of Communist type control. They’ve suffered foreign invaders control for so many years. When democracy and self governance came, the government had to scramble to find a better way of controlling the people with their new found freedom. And they did. Laws were written and rules were to be abided. But the biggest problem is, law enforcement and punishment. This is due to law enforcers and the government as a whole, can be bribed allowing criminal activities to flourish. In conclusion, rampant corruption is the problem not a change on the type of governance.
