    great video. wish they would have kept a lot of the historical buildings around, especially the broom hotel.

    As you look east from the front of Union Station toward Malen's Peak, the first building on the right was the Utah States Liquor Store. You could not buy an alcoholic beverage in a bar or restaurant but you could go to the Liquor sore and with iID you could get anything you heart desired and then go cosss the street to the "CLUB" that was owed by George and "Bum" Pappas and pay a very big price for a "chaser" and play poker with my Dad George Anderson or go upstairs and enjoy some intimate time with "Rosie" our town "hooker'. ROSIE was the city's guest our city jail for about a month before each and every election, and then went back to work right after the counted the votes
    Ogden was a major "stopover" for the UP and lots of the armed forces spent their time seeking time with Rosie between trains. My sister who worked in an upscale lady's Ready Store Fred M Nye said that Rosie was the nicest person she had ever met.and all of the sales girls loved to help her
