To be honest, I never let someone dictate my future. My fiancé and I are applying for a K1 but if we are denied then so be it…And so I move to my fiancé’s country….I always plan my life…..No one dictates my life or no one decides my dreams or fait……Anyone that lets their dreams be decided or ruined by another persons decision is wrong…..Life in another country is actually more appealing then here in the US anyway.

My fiance's k1 visa interview got denied and they asked for more information and resubmit more evidence. I think they called this the green paper more evidence to see if it's bonifide. I had a question if this gets denied can I Go to Vietnam and marry her there and then apply for a spousal visa. Someone said I had to wait two years for this. i didnt meet 2yr meeting in person requirement. after them asking for more evidence for waiver about not meeting due to covid pandemic and some hardships eventually they denied it. they say i have 33 days to appeal but it dont make anysense to appeal since they didnt approved my waiver and even after meeting the beneficiary in person 6mos after filling the application. how soon can i apply for a new i129f?can i apply new application once the 33 days time frame passed?

It just dawned on me. My fiancé’s interview is next week. I haven’t physically been with my fiancé in person since December 7, 2019…which was within the 2 years of filing out I129 application back in June of 2021. you don't need to travel with them. They can travel alone and meet you at the airport. I am not an attorney but i've never heard anyone say you must fly to them and fly back with them. Just make sure she has all her paperwork ready. Also keep in mind the officer will ask her some questions when she lands in U.S. as well and she needs to be careful how she answers.

We are Muslim and we did our Nikah wedding in his country in his home with his family. When I came home I applied for the K1 Visa. Someone told me our case will be denied because we are married but we are not married legally it's is a marriage under the eye of guy in Islamic law so I don't know what to do because I already sent out the application with Pictures and of our Nikah showing the imam blessing us ...also there was not anything written down

My fiance was denied because the officer said the petition had expired. She said that she had the authority to extend it, but she wouldn't. Just like that, she ended our hopes of being reunited. She re-interviewed him which I don't think was right because he was interviewed in March before the shut down. From that interview he was told to turn in proof that he was not in a relationship with his sons mother(we were doing K2 as well). We sent the proof in that she was in another relationship with 2 children from her bf. My fiance hadn't been with her in yearssss. We had all other necessary information as well. He got a notice in October stating his case had been reviewed from March and he was to return to embassy with updated medicals because the medical exam had expired thru the pandemic. He did the exams again and when he went for his appointment the consular officer basically started from beginning like she didn't know he was interviewed before. Which doesn't make sense to me because the notice said his case had been reviewed. Why would they ask him to do updated medicals if his case was reviewed and I guess still able to be denied? Doesn't make sense to me. She was accusatory and very rude. She finally did what I wrote at the beginning. So now I guess we have to start over🤷🏾♀️😔. Or do you think we should try the marriage option?

I'm a green card holder. My husband's documents were approved since April 2020 but he still didn't get anything from embassy. I'm from different country but trust me it is the same delayed everywhere especially with the Trump's proclamation that hopefully will end up in December 31th, 2021. Don’t say anything unless they ask . If they ask be honest if not don’t say if the overstay was in USA they already are aware .

The I-129F and the K1 are the same form. The K1 is really just the category number for USCIS. K=family.

I filed mine in September 2020. Was sitting in limbo until this May 2022 where NVC approved and sent k1 to embassy to now shedule interview. So took about 20-24 months

We are Muslim and we did our Nikah wedding in his country in his home with his family. When I came home I applied for the K1 Visa. Someone told me our case will be denied because we are married but we are not married legally it's is a marriage under the eye of guy in Islamic law so I don't know what to do because I already sent out the application with Pictures and of our Nikah showing the imam blessing us ...also there was not anything written down

My fiance was denied because the officer said the petition had expired. She said that she had the authority to extend it, but she wouldn't. Just like that, she ended our hopes of being reunited. She re-interviewed him which I don't think was right because he was interviewed in March before the shut down. From that interview he was told to turn in proof that he was not in a relationship with his sons mother(we were doing K2 as well). We sent the proof in that she was in another relationship with 2 children from her bf. My fiance hadn't been with her in yearssss. We had all other necessary information as well. He got a notice in October stating his case had been reviewed from March and he was to return to embassy with updated medicals because the medical exam had expired thru the pandemic. He did the exams again and when he went for his appointment the consular officer basically started from beginning like she didn't know he was interviewed before. Which doesn't make sense to me because the notice said his case had been reviewed. Why would they ask him to do updated medicals if his case was reviewed and I guess still able to be denied? Doesn't make sense to me. She was accusatory and very rude. She finally did what I wrote at the beginning. So now I guess we have to start over🤷🏾♀️😔. Or do you think we should try the marriage option?

In 2019 I applied for a tourist visa and I made a mistake by saying I was married and I was Denied for that because they know I was lying
And that same 2019 two months after i applied gain for the tourist visa and this time I put single on my application and the visa officer said that two months before I said I was married and now I’m saying single and I explained to her that was mistake, I totally explained to her that was mistake because it was an agent that helped me with the application and i really don’t understand how it works, I actually accepted responsibility of my actions and I apologized to the visa officers, and I was denied again
And in 2022 I applied for a student visa two different times and I was denied and all both application it’s single on my application.
I have an American boyfriend that I met online since 2021 and we plan getting engaged in January 2024 and apply for the k1 visa.
My question is the made I made 2019 on my tourist visa by lying by saying I was married when I was not , do you think it will affect my k1 visa application being denied because when filling the k1 visa there are sections that asked if I have been divorced and I choose single will it contradicts what I said in 2019 on my tourist visa that I lied by saying I was married when I was not which I later explained later on my other visa application by saying I was single.

I'm a green card holder. My husband's documents were approved since April 2020 but he still didn't get anything from embassy. I'm from different country but trust me it is the same delayed everywhere especially with the Trump's proclamation that hopefully will end up in December 31th, 2021. Let's hope it will be better after new year
