- Well guys here it is in all its raw form. We had some real bad luck this night. But as always we try to look on the bright side and keep focused on what's important. The show must go on after all.

OMG! So glad you're all ok. As for the van, how awful after only a few months. At least, as you say, damage is minimal. Make sure Jayco check that the chassis is straight and that none of the plumbing underneath is damaged. I do hope the rest of your trip goes smoothly.
Thanks for your kind words. It was definitely an eventful night. We will have it checked and assessed by insurance when we return. 🙂

Stress fractures, leaks etc should all be checked.

I'd have it totally checked out for panel adhesive separation. Not just the bent frame bits. It will probably never be the same again with a shunt right though the body like that.
Just subscribed to the channel. Seems like we share similar tastes in vehicle and vans. Looking forward to the ride 😊

But what damage has been done to the tow bar from the shunt in the rear?
OMG I’m glad everyone was okay and very surprised there was hardly any damage to the Caravan the man’s car looks very damaged they might end up writing that one off

It’s a rare occurrence that whoever hit you actually HAD insurance. Everyone I know, including myself has always found the guy who was uninsured. Could have been worse but everyone is ok and that’s what matters

You were probably lucky it ran more under your van that’s why it doesn’t seem to bad but none the less let your insurance company take control.
