Raj Pushpa Infra won the land auction for Kokapet-Neopolis. A close relative of MLC Venkat Ram Reddy is Raj Pushpa's managing director (Srinivas Reddy). Since the beginning, Raj Pushpa has had his eye on the Kokapet estates. Around the Neopolis SEZ, KCR Binamis owns more than 450 acres. The government confiscated the land and artificially raised the land price in an effort to increase the worth of their lands by 1,000 times.
These auctions are being held to increase demand for KCR binamis rather than to bring in money for the government's coffers.
