An easily concealable and capable handgun that performs well as a recreational range gun. Its "shoot ability" will have you carrying a gun that you really know and like to shoot!
My BP9CC would fail to feed occasionally when I first got it, even after a teardown and cleaning. It was stovepiping, so I radiused the breech ever so slightly, and polished the ramp until it shone. No trouble ever since. It will eat anything. I have great confidence in the gun, and it's been my carry for several years now. I've seen them lately for around $250, which is an absurdly cheap price for the quality and utility of this weapon.
There seems to be two different versions of this gun with different extractor guide rod and slide serrations Can you give me any information on which one is the new version because one of them seems to have a CZ p07 style extractor straight serrations & The non-screw looking version of the guide rod And one has a Glock style extractor Screw looking guide rod and curved more aggressive serrations
Straight serrations has to be the new one, because I have seen the one with the curves for ever. Had you not said anything I wouldn't have noticed the straight serrations. Be careful when you purchase one of these. A few people have gotten BP9cc guns that were stamped BP9cc, but would only chamber 380. Hopefully they fixed that and the rusting issues.
RayGunz i just picked my 9CC up yesterday. Same gray frame as yours. It has the straight slide serrations, non screw guide rod and CZ style extractor. I paid $281 in my hands. Not quite as low as you did, but still a great price. Curious where you bought yours. Mine was purchased online from G4G. $251 shipped plus $30 from my receiving/transfer dealer.
I found this firearm to be a sleeper. I wasnt expecting the comfort, or ease of use. I was also quite accurate with it. Definitely a gun I do not regret adding to the collection. Carries well, runs reliably, Accurate, and is easy on the eyes. Took some getting used to for reloading without pinching my pinky. I was warned of the Grease by the rep I purchased the gun from.
The packing grease was horrible in mine. It is a great gun and I have shot thousands of rounds through mine. It fits a XDS holster perfectly. Mine loves 124 grain ammo the best and works the best with my hand loads. Had malfunctions due to a bad mag spring, I called eagle imports and they sent me 4 springs for free. Eagle Imports was great to deal with.

My favourite firearms manufacturers are Kahr arm. & Bersa . having had a BP9cc is a good gun. Trigger is really good so good in fact it will deff surprise you if you arent ready for it
I remember an official at the gun range was blown away by my trigger on the bersa.. I was so new to shooting that I didn't understand ..but I do now. 6/7 years later lol
Another fantastic review! Pat, you're always exciting and hilarious to watch and the information you provide is spectacular. I kept thinking that you brought the wrong gun that day but seeing you do that well with that short of a sight radius (and mag capacity) was amazing. I'm actually going to shoot my first steel challenge match in a couple weeks, all because you got me excited about it. Thank you for the content, time and effort!
Watched one of your videos on something I was looking for reveiws on. Doesn't matter what it was. Now I've watched five in a row. Very entertaining and informative. Great channel Sir!
Loved this gun so much I purchased it as a self defense carry option. Wife saw it and shot it at the range and it is now her purse carry firearm. patrick, thanks for your review as per usual!
I love your channel and I love the content. you have found something really cool with these out the box to the match reviews.I haven't seen anywhere else keep it up
I have the 380 version of this gun. Very satisfied. It did need a through cleaning out of the box. I added Talon grips, and did a bit of filing/sanding inside the triggergard. This eliminated the trigger pinch for me.
Thank You for bringing attention to the quality and affordability of Bersa Pistols! Your range reviews are excellent! I get bored with table top reviews. Could you please Review the New TPR9C? I think it's the ultimate carry size DA/SA pistol... especially for the price! I just bought the TPR9 17+1 and it's a rock solid and smooth shooting pistol! Trigger is amazing and very accurate shooter! I have the older Ultra Compact Version but may get the TPR9C soon

Great shooting! Love the vids. Like the setup of the Bersa Pro but not the biggest fan of the smaller pistols. Bad experience with a 380 once. But I might have to give the small Bersa 9s another try sometime.
This one has the extended extractor from previous models. Hard to find!! I've read a review or two of their Bersa being returned to the Factory and the weapon being returned with the new slide/extended extractor. Not sure if this is a normal thing or not. I get mine today so looking forward to it, it's a "new old stock" so has the shorter extractor. Great review, I enjoy these "OOB to Match" reviews!!
Hi Pat, As a shooter just getting into competitive shooting, I love your reviews. Keep up the great work. Do you have any Sig P320 X-5 reviews planned?
2nd update: bp9cc great 🔫 would by another but in nickle because the slide outer has no finish so it began slightly rusting while left in the car with freshly shampooed interior. The dampness & heat outside combined for rusting to occur outside the frame inside was perfectly fine just putting the info out. Still a great 🔫 would buy another, i just going to proudly cerakote at a shop for $60 to$75 bucks & im still only out of $355 for the 🔫 but personal custom cerakoted frame! Bp9cc 👌 👍 👍!!!!!!!!
Update: this lil piss 🐜 is really nice conceals well front sight dot enlarged for quick sight alignment feed 115 rem, pmc, winchester & my favorite defense 90gr+p 1475fps 9mm underwood extreme defense & 65gr 1700fps 9mm by underwood. Trigger, im just going to say buy 1 you wont regret. Best 280 i spent on any firearm i have. 👍 👍
I just purchased the Bersa BP9CC as my first firearm as a first-time gun owner. As a woman, I really like the weight, the trigger, and the ease of racking. Thank you for such a great video, it was very helpful! One question, I'm a little nervous about it not having a safety, should I be? Any advice on that? Thanks, :)
Just practice more & become comfortable. I remember how uncomfortable I was with my bp9cc when I first bought it. It was my first gun 6/7 years ago. You'll be good. Stay safe
The magazine disconnect safety is to earn enough import points to be able to Import and sell it here in the US. Same with the key lock storage "safety" on the back of the slide. If it weren't for US firearms Import laws, neither of those features would be there.
Love the Bersas, and i really enjoy your reviews, it's a shame that here in Spain its a hard to get Pistol, i've tried to contact the a couple of times and never got a response.
I owned one of these a few years ago, but ended up trading it out for the similar-sized Kahr CW9. I had the white dot on the front sight pop out and I was never that impressed with the finish on the barrel (this being more my issue than the gun's). But my biggest issue, being a carry pistol, is the short, light trigger without any kind of safety. In the end, this didn't feel safe to me. But I did really like the accuracy, size, shape and capacity of the gun. I just prefer the Kahr for carry.
I’ve only handle the Bersa at the counter, I’ve yet to shot one. My concern is, the grip texture seems not very aggressive, and I found it to feel slick in the hand. Jus curious how did the gun feel in hand when firing? I’m suspicious my need talon grip for this one.
Great review Patrick! Took my first steal match this past weekend, shot my Taurus PT111 G2. It was a nightmare on those long stages of 25+ yards with the short barrel. Think I need a duty size weapon, gonna go for the Canik TP9 SF Elite. Any thoughts on that weapon?
You don’t seem to be having as much fun with this Bersa than with the CZ’s, this looked more like a chore to shoot at this “long range” match lol Great video as always Cheers
Appreciate that you take the time to shoot groups and 15 yards is a very practical distance for a fixed sight carry pistol. Kind of gets tiresome watching TH-camrs talk about a review pistol being accurate when they're shooting steel plates the size of a basketball~!
Thank you kindly. I feel accuracy testing is part and parcel of a gun review. My background in competitive shooting sports demands I know this info and how to extract it. Best you you. PK

I like the Bersa for sure. Also the Glock 19... is very accurate comfortable and more costly. My question is why you like the Kel Tec PF9? I like the Kel Tec but not the trigger pull.
@@PatrickEKelley3gunfun I've held a PF9 and PF11 but never fired one. They feel great . Just didn't care for the trigger pull. The Glock 17 and 19 are kool but costly straight shooters with a good capacity and feel. But really square . And costly. Can't wait to try the Bersa BP9ODCC. If you had to buy one of the two at same price for a keeper. KelTec or Bersa? I probably think your answer would be ? I don't really know but I say you'd lean toward KelTec but I could be wrong?
@@PatrickEKelley3gunfun Thanks so much. I really enjoy your videos and reviews. Your speed and skills are impressive. Thank you for the review! I had to leave home in a hurry; I left my edc locked up and only realized it after I was on the road with nothing more than my bobcat 21a .22 Beretta. I stopped by Indy Arms on E. 55th street off of North Keystone Avenue to see if I could get a deal I was comfortable with due to at least wanting something more than that I had on me. For $296 they got me this gun and a nice holster and a box of jhp. I certainly cannot complain.
I would love to see the new mac 3011 sld if possible in the future again love the videos you do a great job! I know money could be a constraint but I love any content you do.thanks for all the work you do to show the function of these guns it's really helpful
BERSA bp9cc "aka" (In the full house) LOL 😉. thanks for the great video & pushing through with the injury to your trigger finger. Speedy recovery for your injury.lol.👍🇺🇸💪 MAGA 🇺🇸👍🍻
My Bersa Thunder came from the factory looking like it was pulled off a battlefield somewhere and thrown in a plastic bag and shipped to me. It was full of disgusting sludge and crap. I was pissed. But, cleaned it up and it ran fine. They build them well, but don't give a crap about sending you a pistol that looks like it was dunked in a bucket o' sh**.
Mike Sal A complete disassembly and cleaning on these Bersa pistols is a must. Mucho crap in the firing pin channel out of the box. My 380 version was filthy from the manufacturer. Cleaned and ran 400 rounds without any issues. These guns are well worth their price.
Thank you! Yea, some of the guys do a good job of the table top. I just wanted to offer what I do and that turns out to be something no-one else does. Probably why my channel will never be on par with the MAC, Iraq8888 or Hickok45.
Mr. Kelley, If you would. Please explain the difference between a factory stock pistol and factory custom. The ones I'm most interested in are the Tanfoglio Stock VS Stock Extreme versions. But I dont think you have reviewed an Extreme version yet. Any information would be appreciated. Thankyou
I would venture to say the any" factory custom" gets a bit more attention in overall assembly and in the case of "competition" guns, more attention to the fire control assembly.
Suggestion, for another bargain basement pistol test...Diamondback 9mm fullsize...very comfortable in the hand and low bore axis...$250-$275. Would like to see how it runs out of the box... Keep up the good work!
I have one that had a HORRIBLE trigger out of the box. I had heard from others that mine had to be wrong as theirs were much nicer...almost nice. Turned out my had a nasty burr on the striker that once removed....BAM nice trigger!
There seems to be two different versions of this gun with two different extractors Guide rod and spring and a set of slide serrations that are different as well can you give me any information Patrick and which one is the updated or new version I saw the exact one you shot in the video at the shop today next to it was a different one with The different stuff

Thanks for the new vid! have you ever tried a tristar cz clone?
Not yet...stay tuned.
Absolutely. Canik and Sarsilmaz clones.
I like the Bersa for sure. Also the Glock 19... is very accurate comfortable and more costly. My question is why you like the Kel Tec PF9? I like the Kel Tec but not the trigger pull.
The PF9 is (in my mind) as close to ideal in power, weight and overall dimensions as is available.
@@alanstowing1 I would pick the one that fit and felt the best as both are sound choices!
@@PatrickEKelley3gunfun Thanks so much. I really enjoy your videos and reviews. Your speed and skills are impressive. I also enjoy the way you explain the ways in which the weapons operate while doing so in a safe manner and with some enjoyable humor :) . Keep on doing what you do. Enjoy life and always stay safe. Now Subscribed although I usually just search "Out of the Box"
Thank you for sharing that! I understand that is a nice gunshop.
Making the Honda Element cool again!!
Good little machine for shooting matches.
Great video and love the channel!
Thank you!
I would love to see the new mac 3011 sld if possible in the future again love the videos you do a great job! I know money could be a constraint but I love any content you do.thanks for all the work you do to show the function of these guns it's really helpful
I really want one of those too! I WILL HAVE ONE! Thank you for watching and the positive comments!
Always fun.....thank you sir!
You are always welcome.
BERSA bp9cc "aka"
(In the full house) LOL 😉. thanks for the great video & pushing through with the injury to your trigger finger. Speedy recovery for your injury.lol.👍🇺🇸💪 MAGA 🇺🇸👍🍻
Thank you!
I looked at this just recently when I bought my Kimber micro 9. It was DIRT cheap. Like 239.
Cheap in price, but one heck of a great tool.
I bet they have a lot of preservative to use up.
You’ll be good in a role of a Santa
Great video. Thanks! What would you rather carry for a concealed weapon? This or a Glock?
KelTec.
@7:30 ....5.0 With a reload it’s pretty good shooting!! keep it up
I'll stay the course Sammich, and thank you.
Just bought one. Concerned about that trigger in appendix carry.
I won’t carry appendix without a external manual safety.
Nice review
Packing grease in a new firearm, thats something I think of for surplus firearms. Good to know.
Yea, and something I know, but failed to act on.
Grease in the firing pin channel of my BP9CC caused misfires at the gun range.
Mike Sal A complete disassembly and cleaning on these Bersa pistols is a must. Mucho crap in the firing pin channel out of the box. My 380 version was filthy from the manufacturer.
Cleaned and ran 400 rounds without any issues. These guns are well worth their price.
Damn You are fast !
BERSA AWESOME Gun!!!
They are very nicely made.
@@PatrickEKelley3gunfun GOD BLESS You
Shot my Glock 43 and this one in a "Shootout" this one I shot more accurately. Sold the Glock 43. Paid 225.00 half as much as the Glock 43.
My brother has one. The grip where it meets the slide really digs into the web of my hand.
bludmakesgrassgrow is that good or bad for you? lol use your words son.
smokedoubt lol
thanks for the info Patrick
Got it. Love it. Definitely realiable
Heck of a package and very affordable!
Another great video! Love these out of the box to match reviews fun and entertaining vs just a table top review (yawn ).
Thank you! Yea, some of the guys do a good job of the table top. I just wanted to offer what I do and that turns out to be something no-one else does. Probably why my channel will never be on par with the MAC, Iraq8888 or Hickok45.
Love these vids! Thanks!
You are welcome.
Is there a video of it?...Or is that a down the road project?
No video..perhaps down the road as you say.
i wish Bersa make a high capacity magazine for BP9CC
Mongo Aurelio being a single stack mag... That's gonna stick out down the bottom pretty darn far. Not really practical for a defensive pistol.
Thanks for the great video.
You bet!
Thanks, Pat
Welcome!
I knew a guy who shot nothing but Bersa pistols until one day had to quit. He had developed Bersitis.
hahahahahaha. Love it!
There seems to be two different versions of this gun with two different extractors Guide rod and spring and a set of slide serrations that are different as well can you give me any information Patrick and which one is the updated or new version I saw the exact one you shot in the video at the shop today next to it was a different one with The different stuff
Great shooting!!!
Thanks!
What ear pro are you using? Those look interesting....
Etymotic! Gun Sport 15.
size of 43x jut a bit wider on the slide BP9cc great shooter so far
These guns are sleeper's for sure💯
Bersa orgullo argentino
You're good behind the trigger.
Thank you kindly.
Hi mr Patrick how do you manage to tame the recoil ?? This is my edc and sometimes I shoot it ok , today not good at all bc of the recoil .
Good grip mechanics. I have a video on the technique. Check it out.
@@PatrickEKelley3gunfun ok I’ll try and and find . This gun shoots so high for me . I just get use to aiming a lot lower . I need to practice more thanks again .
Have you done or will you do a review on the Steyr M9 A1???
Yes I have.
Patrick E. Kelley
You did..and
Can you run the Bersa TPRC 9mm?
I can, when I get one!
I own the TPR9C. It is better then my Sig Sauer and has an amazing trigger. Worth more then the price they ask for it.
