Midea and Toshiba are similar products because they are both made by Midea. Toshiba Lifestyle (A 80% Midea Company) doesn't sell any dishwasher in Japan. Midea sell it overseas only with Toshiba Logo, and set up higher price tags. The best 5 doesn't have Bosch(Siemens) or Panasonic is not trustworthy. Panasonic is the best selling countertop and built-in dishwasher maker in Japan, and dominate the Japan domestic market for many years. In this video, I can tell you that rank 2~4 are worthless. These are OEM products which are made by Chinese unknown factories. Unlike Midea, these factories are not huge home appliance makers.

I have been using that first one for a few months and I love it! My only complaint would be that, because it has such a small water tank, it doesn't do a pre-rinse, but goes straight into the main washing programme with detergent, and then a rinsing cycle. This means if my dishes are really dirty I have to pre-rinse them in the sink, which uses a lot more time and water. Other than that it's great, and I'm not sure if there even are any compact dishwashers out there that do a pre-rinse. Having a setting for that would be great especially since a lot of these models do allow you to hook it up to a water supply.

I own that Danby. It's great. Cleans everything just fine. But you're never ever going to cram in as many dishes as they show in that one photo. Impossible in the real world. The delayed wash timer puts a LOT of trust on the hose not breaking while it sits there under full water pressure for hours, and the water will be cold by the time is gets used, which means the machine will need to heat it. This uses energy. I personally do not run the thing unattended because it would be a catastrophe if the faucet connector or hose started leaking. The faucet spout itself stays under full water pressure as well, with the hose hanging off it, something it was never designed to do. It's definitely a danger zone. If something is going to go wrong, it's going to be the faucet or hose. The machine itself is great. No issues. But it is NOT an exclusive design. There are other companies selling the exact same machine under different names. Most likely they and Danby are all just buying them from an anonymous factory.

i have one like the dandi in this video ,i customized the tray as i have always had to do as out of the 6 counter-top dish washers i've ever had never fit my dishes etc , so dont be afraid to completely modify there stupid trays to fit every thing you want to wash -I get 12 dinner plates in it &6 large bowls &6 large glasses $ 14 of each forks knifes spoons and 20 tea spoons &a chopping board and 3 carving knifes and all 4 plastic micro waves bowls and some egg cups and a few side plates as well . so its well worth customizing the tray your self to fit all your dishes and its a great idea to buy as many as will fit , to save on costs to run it as you will only have to wash when its full t takes me about 2 weeks to fill mine so i only use it every 14 days approx , and every thing is clean and fresh and i am very happy with them all , i use them on cheap rate electricity too so it only cost pea nuts for a good long wash with a nice hot wash i have had counter top dishwashers since 1984 and they have all be great

Hi, only 2 Adults in the family, Fot the Danby or Toshiba, If I just wanted to just put a couple of small pots and pans with minimal plates and cups and minimal flatware would that work? Or could I just put 2 pots and 2 pans alone with 5 or 6 forks and knives, no dishes, would that work? That way do one load of pots and pans and one load of plates and cups and saucers.

Washing dishes by hand takes up 3 to 4 hours a day but with a portable automatic dishwasher it's only one hour
Yes it is very time saver.
Washing dishes does not take 3-4 hours a day. I cook 3 meals a day and do the dishes after every meal. It takes me 15 minutes per meal to wash dry and put away. If I air dried them it would be 10 minutes.
