Part 10 is still coming I'm just taking my time on it. After I finished part 10, I got to practice with a lot of characters. There are so many out right now. I am doing an All X Sonic Speedrun request video Sooooo.
These are really good X Sonic speedruns. His moveset is clearly overpowered in the most funniest way possible. And I like that (for most polish or oc characters). Still, you did a massive great job. Keep it up, mate!
God, X Sonic is INSANE. Makes me wish I could get good at controlling him already... Massive props to you for these speedruns. Speaking of speedruns... here's a request for one. You know that one collab map pack with a kaizo tier third act? I wanna see you try and tear through it as X Sonic or some other insane character if possible.
I love him as a character, but I feel that he's literally designed only to speedrun and do straight line maps and is kind of bad in every other situation, especially normal maps with methodical platforming. His gameplay is actually pretty clunky and the 0-100 style doesn't work in maps not designed for him it seems. You're either going way too fast, or way too slow imo.

Yeah I ain’t gonna lie I like him. I feel like these criticisms are for people who aren’t too skilled with srb2. I’m not saying this out of just shit talking but rather just seeing this being common with players who aren’t THAT good in srb2
As someone who is just getting into fast, like 3d maps sonic games, I feel that he is quite fast, really indeed, either way, for me it just adds a challenge that will give me training to use another sonic like, main srb2 sonic, easier to control and already used to someone with more speed, yeah I've died many times cause of landing issues, falling of the map and such, but is fun for me to learn that way about speed, parkour, speeding through the map while maintaining my rings and lives, and, is also a wonderful and perfectly crafted skin straight from X, so yeah 10/10 despite speed. I also like the challenge of exploring with someone as fast as him

Now I really want to see if x sonic can keep up with logarithmic train! the closest i've ever gotten to doing that was with the boost mode for junio sonic.

Not only is it unapologetically cartoony, it’s stop-and-start gameplay as a core game mechanic that *isn’t* jarringly so, *nor* an impedance to the player’s movement. If Sonic Frontiers could’ve been anything upon release, it should’ve been this.

what play style do you use for X Sonic? does the one that makes the character face where the camera is pointing makes the Zip Dash any easier to aim??
I use mouse and keyboard, and Strafe , and yeah it does help a lot with aiming.
This makes me want to mod my own OC in, but add the Turbo Boost system from nfs hot pursuit as a mechanic

Fun fact: none of those are particularly suitable for speedruns. 2 are hangout maps, one is a battle arena, and the other is a tutorial stage.
