I have to say, you're never to old to learn something new. I have never seen this Technique before and I'm 60+. So thank you for showing and sharing something old but new to some of us.

My grade school teacher had us pick out a famous painting from a book and try our best to reproduce it with this method. We didn't have any heat guns, just watered down glue, paper and tissue paper torn into shapes. It was one of my favorite projects. Thanks for reminding me of it!

What a terrific idea Sam! On my next trip for shopping I'm stopping into the dollar store for some crepe paper and will do this. I've never made a background nor stamped one on any cards, so this will be fun and inexpensive to try. What I have made though is a few embossing plates and they are great! TY for this video. And, as always you are a terrific teacher.

I did this on a couple of cards a few weeks ago, I don't have many ink pads and wanted to colour the background. It was fun and so easy to do. Thanks for the video! X

Love this idea. Can’t wait to do it with my grand daughters. How about using a spray bottle instead of a brush.

I've seen specialty tissue paper sold--not especially cheap, either--for just this sort of technique. I've wondered if you could just use cheap tissue paper instead for the same/similar results, so this is good to know! Love all the backgrounds you created, Sam--thanks for sharing, & have a wonderful day! :)
