Learn how to use tissue paper for unique greeting card creations. Tissue paper can give cards a faux linen technique that's simple to create; come watch!
This creative handmade card uses household tissue paper. The more wrinkled, the better! Choose your favorite designer paper or stamp set and let's create tissue paper art they won't resist touching.
Stampin' Up!'s Plaid Tidings Designer Paper is perfect for this technique. And I'll teach you a creative way to add color/tones to white tissue paper, too.

I’ve made cards with the tissue paper technique & it’s fun to do. Using the plaid card stock & those leaves really sets it off. The single ribbon loop & rhinestones are an added touch also. Both cards are great! Thanks, Lisa!

Wow, this card is beautiful! It's funny, I prefer the greeting tucked in closer to the center, but the one with the greeting all the way to the left side definitely makes your eye travel around the card more. 🤔

I like the sentiment not over to the end of the card, but just to the end of the very vanilla card stock... It's a very classy card by the way...simple but elegant..that is my taste... love it...

I was happy to see the glue daubing technique. I never thought of that. I gave up using napkins on cards because I couldn't figure out how to adhere them smoothly without spray adhesive, which I won't use (I don't want to inhale even a little bit of it). I was also excited to see a way to make variegated leaves with regular ink. Thank you! And I prefer the sentiment that didn't extend to the outside of the card, though both were fine.
