This guy is pure joy. I admit he rubbed me the wrong way when I first saw some of his videos, but I'm totally addicted now. Absolutely zero pretense and full of passion. Throw in his playful attitude and seemingly unlimited creativity towards low cost and endless DIY projects makes him a god of the modular scene IMO. Or at least a demigod

If I had a large reserve of capital, I would set up a foundation for this highly creative and industrious young man. I have followed his projects since he began posting on youtube. He is a mad scientist with an irreverent stance on synthesis design and more than that he exudes a loving and genuine concern for spreading his ideas out to the general public. I hope those who are inspired by his musical wizardry will find a way to shed some love back to him with generous support from their pockets, precioussz!

Likewise, love his enthusiasm. Sure, I'd be a bit more gentle with the MS10 if it was mine, though to be fair, it looks like it's had a pretty tough life well before he was even born. That said, those things are built like tanks, and 6.5mm jacks are very easily replaced if you've got his skills. But the modular synths behind him are new and built by himself, likewise the BSP's very solid, modern gear and can take some stick. I was equally physical with my computer gear at the same age, so I ain't gonna knock him. The Who were much worse! :D

When you realize you can make your own modules ....

Well it's not like you just "can make your own modules". You first need to have the skill and knowledge to do that. And the time invested into learning all of that could probably also be spent at the dayjob and allow to buy the modules you could've made otherwise.
But then again.. it's all fun and hobby anyway. So why not if it's fun to someone :)

@@earlgrey2130 You "first need to have the skill and knowledge". What a redundant thing to say. Talk about having missed the point entirely.

Total respect for him, building his own modular system is just legendary, nothing to do with the hipsters fad. This guy is for real !

Absolutely, some of the stuff he's built is insane, everything from the furby organ to the 1000 oscillator mega drone, his creativity and drive know no limits

I cant imagine how he has the time to build that stuff, would take me decades, i build guitar effects from kits sometimes and a very simple tube guitar amp but this stuff is 100000 times more complex.
