Playlist of my CONFIDENCE FLIES: th-cam.com/video/GyuKmbXhjPI/w-d-xo.html
you talk too much‼️🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣
So you're saying I should start a podcast, too? Tim www.troutandfeather.com
This has me thinking, what are my top five flies I always want/need with me.
Thanks so much, so it's your turn to share: What are some of your confidence flies?
Tim, what about the mop fly? Definitely a fly to use almost anytime…..lol
It's a killer pattern, Mario, and one that is always in my fly box! Have a favorite Mop color?
PS ….. Tungsten 🎣 Surveyor 🌟🌟🌟
Yet another winner, Brian!!
Do you ever fish anything besides trout/salmon in the NE? Like carp, pike, or bass?
Yes, I was fishing for striped bass in the Atlantic on Friday. As summer approaches, I chase largemouth and panfish in my area, plus have some carp trips lined up for August. If it swims, I'm game! Tim www.troutandfeather.com
@@TimCammisa can you please diversify your videos and drop some knowledge about fishing something other than trout/salmon? There’s so much crowding on trout streams. The FF community needs influencers like you to show how kickass other game fish truly are. Thanks Tim, you rock!!!
How about Soft Hackle wet flies?
Those are great choices, and some of my nymphs have either CDC or partridge hackle to add movement and give the impression of life. Tim www.troutandfeather.com
Excellent! Thanks for sharing your confidence flies.
You're welcome, and some of your confidence flies include?? I shared, now it's your turn!
@@TimCammisamine are a black mayers mini leech tied with micro squirrel, pheasant tail and a purple haze 😊
AWESOME flies! Appreciate you sharing.
Thanks Tim☕️☕️
You're welcome, Jim, now what are some of your confidence flies? Tim www.troutandfeather.com
Thanks Tim! You reminded me I need to tie some more Walts worms.
A couple of my fav's.
'Missing Link' (14-18). Probably my all-time favorite
A flying ant pattern like a 'Fat Angie' (10-12). Perfect for a dry-dropper setup.
Those are 2 that I pretty much never hit the water without, great for prospecting or picky trout.
Great choices, and thanks for sharing your favorites! I definitely need to fish the Missing Link a tad more. Tim Cammisa www.troutandfeather.com
Good list. Mine are Peacock herl Wooly Bugger, X-Caddis, Hare's Ear Nymph, Pheasant Tail ( American and Frank Sawyer version) Adams and when all else fails Griffiths Gnat. I will add Walts Worm and the France Nymph. As or Eggs and Worms, those are already in my junk fly box. Right now I am looking for a 6 wt rod but I can't seem to make up my mind on what one to buy. It was a how lot less confusing 45 years ago. Fished Penn's Creek a couple of weeks ago.
Great choices, George, especially that Peacock Bugger...which was one of the FIRST flies I ever tied on TH-cam. There's a reason it was #1. Hope all is well, and an exceptional 6-weight is the Lamson Velocity. It's strong enough to power through the wind, but has a tip that protects 6x on a hookset. I used it throughout the US and Iceland the last two seasons, ZERO complains. Hope that helps. And how was Penn's?
FUN video Tim - thank ya! My pesonal best brown trout took a Walt's Worm.... the pattern was only the hook, bead, thread, and hare's ear dubbing...done deal! I'm feeling inspired now to tie a couple rows of the X-Caddis! Appreciate ya!
Right back at you, Freddy, you're an inspiring fly tier, too! Hope you're well! Tim www.troutandfeather.com
Tim, I caught a few rainbow trout in a pond with a Gasolina. I just thought I'll give it a try and it worked. Thanks for the content! Cheers, Mike
That's a favorite, and a fly featured in something special coming out this winter! ;-) Tim www.troutandfeather.com
My # 1 go to fly, a bead headed pheasant tail soft hackle. Never been skunked when using that fly and even more importantly, I have always caught more fish than my sons in law with it!
That is an awesome fly, Steve, and one I use in the US and Iceland with success! Thanks for sharing, and good luck when fishing with your son-in-laws! Tim www.troutandfeather.com
Great list, Tim. My drying patch always has some Sparkle Duns on it by the end of the day. I don't leave home without a box full of them.🙂
That's a killer, Mike, no doubt! If this list was all dry flies, that's a top for me. Thanks for sharing! Tim Cammisa www.troutandfeather.com
Didn't even make the top 5...
Oh no, what are some of your top confidence flies??
thx for the tying videos-playlist for the flys !
Glad you like them! Any favorite flies you'd like to share? Tim Cammisa www.troutandfeather.com

Hope that the Montana Trout ….. do NOT recognize My Michigan Tying - Style !!!! All the locals here brag that they fish the “ SMARTEST “ Trout in the USA !! I just Smile and Nod ……
🤗
Excellent content!! Thanks!!
You're welcome, thanks for taking a moment to comment! Tim www.troutandfeather.com
