The soundboard's installed in such a way that it lifts up just enough from the sd card/port side for access. The elastic band on the other side keeps the soundboard from separating from the chassis. It's an unnerving system at first, but you get used to it and it's very functional.
I’m waiting for my first lightsaber from SaberTrio to ship(vektra), although it’s only an FX without the added CF soundboard for smoothswing, I’m still excited
he has a youtube as well check that out. and the the chassis is specific to that hilt since the dual buttons. all if not most have a two button setup. i personally own the creed, ascend and badaxx sabers.
In my opinion, all saber hilt buttons should be inside a groove. So when you grab your hilt and swinging it around you are not accidentally pushing the button. I have done this before, it happens.
On the website it is saying this hilt was discontinued and I was really looking forward to getting it as my first lightsaber once you said it was super comfortable
it was probably removed due to a whole slew of reasons. the creed and badaxx hilts are comfortable. the ascend is ok, sometimes the grooves irritate the hand (they are filed down they aren't sharp so that's not the reason)
@@Mizuno90210 I guess that means you have purchased from there (correct me if I’m wrong) but if I’m right, how would one go about purchasing from the website, I hope it’s just a confusing process and I didn’t miss something obvious 😅
@@that1emo280 yes i bought from him before three times in fact. select any hilt that you want, then choose your saber options, then click add to cart. off to the right side will show your cart with items selected, at the end of the list on the left it will say checkout and from there it should be self explanatory.
Any chance on kit fisto's lightsaber, could you measure the distance, on the top on the hilt, the distance between the blade and the edge of it. I ordered the blade and was hoping to add an extension to it, thanks for your help!

No need to plug into the USB port, unless you plan on using RICE or only have one switch installed. With two switches, firmware can be updated by putting it on the SD card.

Vector has been discontinued. The Corran Horn will take its place in GCS's line up of regular run production sabers.

I noticed the retention screw is pretty close to the top of the hilt. How well do Genesis sabers hold up on full contact dueling?

his custom work is backed up by a year, if you plan on ordering custom work, you'd have a hell of a wait.
