I noticed Devs and Dice's torches on his latest video and asked where he got them. He linked me your way to his video. This is awesome! I'm going to start looking for some LED lights that I can do this with.
Great work, I don't understand why this video has only so few views, only thing I can think of is the title, maybe try putting "DYI" and "flame" in the name?
Thank you so much! I Love to see creations from the community, if you'd like to share I'm on a bunch of social platforms which you can see on the About section of Atmoseeker Channel page.
Lovey, really good idea and it looks brilliant! Just one small query, why leather wrap a wall cresset? Anyway, a fine bit of work/crafting, I just have to give it a go!!
Thank you so much! You're right about leather wraps! I think at the time I liked the aesthetic, but in hindsight making it an iron band would be more on point.
Thanks for the feedback Josh! Yeah my approach with this video was more of a "this is how i did it" not really a "how to". But if people are a bit more interested in specifics, I can focus on those in the future. It's early days for the channel, so its definitely still a settling process. Thank again, if there's anything about the build that was unclear, happy to field those questions.
Just discovered your channel today. Gobsmacked by the production value of the content you made after only one year of creating your channel. Liked and subscribed on the spot. Regarding your project, how did you mount your torches to the wall ? Can the foam base really support the fixture's weight or did you have to stick it to a thin MDF backing ?
Thanks very much! Only thing to mount it was a single nail on an angle in the wall. Then it hooks on where the hole is on the back of the torch. The whole torch is reasonably light, so it doesn't need to support much weight.
Hey Sebastion! I've literally been shopping for something online for my youtube studio thats super similar to what you made. Watching your vid inspired me to just make them myself. Cheers mate! Btw you've got an incredible game room setup and surely the envy of GM's everywhere. Ever need another player hmu! Subbed.
Thank you so much! Amazing to hear you found it inspiring! Yes these torches have been a great centre piece for the game room (the back of my garage 😅) Always happy to know i've got players keen for another let's play! By far my favourite way to collaborate with other channels.

Nice to hear from you. My Surname is Warzecha which roughly translates to "wooden spoon". 😁 We are based in Cologne. Setting up our TH-cam channel as soon as possible.
To be honest, probably a new makeup brush would be better cause the bristles would be softer. I picked up the tip from Tabletop minions th-cam.com/video/iSKFtaY8iAw/w-d-xo.html
Great video! I am going to try and make these soon for my LARP but I have questions on the paint. What is the gray paint you use on the metal parts? It says Amish Gray in the transcript around the 5 min mark and it is what I hear but I can’t find it. or don’t know if what I am looking for is correct. Thanks for the additional help and great video.
The only missing piece of information here is....... "how did you actually hang it on the wall?" . I wouldn't trust the bottom layer of foam to hold the weight of it all. So i presume a 45 degree angled nail sticking out the wall would slide up the tube? is that correct? Does that hold it in place?
That is a great point! Yes having a nail in the wall will work (and attachment may differ for different wall types). The idea is the angle of the tube uses downward force to press base against the wall. On mine I have cut a small slit in the back of the foam of the base near the tube (that doesn't cut all the way through) for the head of a small nail to catch on.
@@Atmoseeker love your videos, I only discovered you this week but I’ve watched everything. I’m planning on building a dungeon in my upcoming shop… and I’ll be aiming to use a lot of your tips n tricks. I was thinking of making a fake window and then putting a projector above the window but pointing to a wall about 3 to 4 feet away… so the window will show whatever the projector shows. I really liked your stream deck setup for the projector…
Thanks very much! Glad you found it all handy and that sounds like an amazing project! I have plenty of topics I haven't covered yet on the channel and would love to see how it all comes together, so feel free to reach out on socials. (There is also a private discord for Atmoseeker members.)

This is an extremely high quality video for such a small channel. You sir have earned a subscribe and deserve many, many more.
So, so cool!
I like how organic this process feels. Very 'just get in there and have fun with it'. Love it!

Fantastic! Yeah you can pick up the LED flame bulbs reletively easily on Amazon
This video should have way more likes and comments. Amazing work.

Honestly constructing my own home dnd dungeon room, your channel is inspiring and I hope to make something amazing
what an awesome project. I wonder if you could find a battery operated version of that lamp for a hand held version?
Thanks! If you check out the description in this video, there's a link to a rechargeable version th-cam.com/video/dAlWb8BZXGs/w-d-xo.html
It might be a better idea to use pvc pipe rather than the cardboard tubes for the handles. It would make them capable of being handled more as well
Yeah I was using what I had on hand, but that's a great idea!
Really enjoyed this video. Would love to see more diy like this
Thanks! Had a lot of fun making these, I'm currently filming another game room prop build.
That’s awesome

amazing video! how did you make the lamps flash the lights at different intervals?
Thank you! They use a special "flame bulb" links to equipment and materials can be found here: atmoseeker.webflow.io/equipment

Thanks for watching! Yeah Amish grey is just a light grey, so anything like that with a matte finish will do the trick 👍
@@Atmoseeker thank you! I think my main problem was I was spelling Grey as Gray. I will be sure to post my progress.
