This was great. I have no diy skills, but may try this. I need a similar cage so bad! The plastic net cage I bought did nothing to hold them out so I will do more research on this build. Thank you for posting. Lovely view from your porch!

Does it really keep squirrels out? We have a terrible ground squirrel problem and I’ve read they can chew through chicken wire

Just out of curiosity, if you were to build it again would you put chicken wire on the bottom?

It’s fairly heavy so it’s probably not necessary, but we just wanted to be 100% sure those little stinkers can’t get in.
