The same rules don’t apply when the disparity is in the opposite direction (aka professional sports).

When I first started hearing about these new ideas, I thought it was a plan to confuse people and no one would ever believe these lies. But I had to realize that they now actually believe these insane ideas. None of it is based in truth, but they got young people to go along. Then I wondered what they are teaching in colleges and are all the books being changed to go along with lies. What are they telling young people?

I felt the same way. I thought that many of these notions were merely conjured up to help liberals get a big black turnout in elections. I didn't think that smart people actually believed these things. Then, all of a sudden, people began to seem as if they DID. Sanity and common sense seem to be largely things of the past.

Mr. Metaxas says that the book "When Race Trumps Merit" was "entertaining on some level." I read the book, which is excellent, but didn't find it entertaining in the least. I found it profoundly depressing. Western Civilization and the pillars that have created and sustained it are all coming down. Meritocracy and reason itself are all being undermined and destroyed, across all institutions (including those that should know better), in the fanatical pursuit of a chimeric "equity" agenda to equalize results, a situation that has never existed and never will exist as long as humans do.

Kudos for mentioning Alan Keyes. I got to vote for him in a presidential primary and later again for senator against Barack Obama. A missed opportunity. HE should have been the first black president.

It is so rational to not ask about and discuss the distribution of steel down a couple of skyscrapers that collapsed straight down onto themselves. Didn't level 5 of the North Tower have to support the weight of 21 times as many stories as level 105? So how many tons of steel were in each one?
